What's that they're talking about the court getting wet???
Hand of God perhaps??
Or the Borg curse? _________________ Legends Never Die. They Breathe Through The New Generation.

This rain is really starting to tick me off. Just go away for like 30 minutes and the match will be over. _________________

Both players were helped in different ways by the rain yesterday, but this helps Djokovic again by slowing the court down. We'll see if it hurts Nadal as much as it did yesterday. _________________

The rain is heavy, they showed the close-up and it's freaking pouring.
This would suck really. I think if I had a choice I'd refuse to play and site this as a travesty.....but then again Nadal has more to lose so PLAY ON! _________________ Legends Never Die. They Breathe Through The New Generation.

It's amazing to see how neutralized Nadal is without the topspin.
He's like a helpless child. _________________ Legends Never Die. They Breathe Through The New Generation.

After all the incredible clutch moments Djokovic has had saving match point, he double faults. Kind of anticlimactic. I was hoping for a well fought point, but I'll take it.
Congratulations to Nadal. I hope the top 4 get to the semis at Wimbledon because they are all much closer on that surface and should make for incredible matches. _________________

I knew Nadal and Pau Gasol were friends, but I didn't know they were close enough for a hug and embrace after winning a slam. That was a legit older brother-younger brother type hug. _________________

I really wish Federer was 5 years younger. Could you imagine the epic battles the 3 of these guys would be having every single slam? All 3 likable guys with completely different games. It would have been a better version of the Borg-McEnroe-Connors days. _________________

Well, the Borg-McEnroe-Connors trifecta is a lot like what we had now.
McEnroe was 7 years older than Connors.
So it went, Connors, Borg then McEnroe in terms of "era".
People just overlook the fact Connors won 3 Slams past the age of 28 (one at 30).
I've seen a lot of stock footage, Borg dominated the French and Wimbledon, but couldn't win at the U.S. Open. So it wasn't as tight of a competition as some think. There was really only about a 3 year window where all three were contenders at the Slams and like I said, Connors was the old guy in the group. 79-81 is probably the timeline you're looking at for all three. _________________ Legends Never Die. Damn Nadal . I just hope Federer fares better at the other slams, I think he'd have to have a stunner of a tournament to win another slam at this stage but I think it's still somewhat possible. _________________
