This draft is very weak at the top and no teams are looking to trade a fortune for a Top 5 pick. What do you think the Jaguars will do then; take Matt Barkley at #2 overall who IMO is an inferrior QB, Jarvis Jones who is a LB with possible injury concerns, or a stud DT like Star Lotuelei or Johnathan Hankins? Or maybe a DE like Sam Montgomery or Damonte Moore should they push there stock into the Top 5-10? |
I'd prefer one of the last 2 options if Gene isn't available. Personally, I like Lotuelei and Moore if I was picking between one of the two in each option. I'm not sure who I would take out of those two though. |
#1 Trade down (since most don't project trades)
Jarvis Jones
Starlie Lotulelei
Damontre Moore
Luke Joeckel
DeMarcus Milliner
Samuel Montgomery
In no order. _________________

Don't think Monroe has the body to play RT. Also, I don't think a LT switching to RT or vice versa is easy as we make it seems. _________________

There's no reason to move Eugene Monroe to RT when he is playing very well at LT. _________________

I agree, the latter statement was more a general thing. _________________

Moves? Why?
He's having the best season of his career. Absolutely no point to remove him from LT.

Potential BPA(pending Jarvis' neck) and actually gives us a body to stop the outside rush...I know its not conventional, but would give us a respectable line. _________________

At #2 there's no reason to list him though especially when you view 5 others as being potentially worth the selection as well. _________________

Of course you list him, he is the best Tackle in the class, and a blue chiper this year...one of like 4. I listed the other(s) as we don't have a pass rush and are at the top of the class. _________________

people make it seem like RT isnt the biggest problem on this line, especially if Britton is going to be playing guard. Whichever QB we put back there is going to fear that side until we fix it _________________

Bradfield has been pretty good the past 3 weeks. 0 sacks, 0 hits and an average of 1 hurry per game. - via PFF.
I second the Dion Jordan pick. _________________

Meester is graded as one of the top-5 worst Centers this year.
Brewster is playing that way the last few weeks too. _________________
