Yes. Meier has been mentioned by Smitty and Matt both in interviews. Mainly about his progress and good work ethic. _________________

Even though Baker and Holmes are close in size, Holmes just looks like a monster.

Holmes weighs a lot more though right? | According to the Falcons website: 32 lbs. I don't believe Baker is 301. That number has to be wrong. I would estimate Baker is around 315-320. The one common knock I have seen most draft people express about Holmes is his lack of athleticism. I wonder how significant NFL level strength and conditioning will be to Holmes. The guy seems like he has the desire to be a beast. |

From Rotoworld:
| Quote: | ESPN's Pat Yasinskas calls Julio Jones the most impressive player he's seen in any training camp thus far this summer.
Yasinskas is ESPN's NFC South blogger. Per Yasinskas, Jones has been "lighting up" Falcons practices, and making "several spectacular plays" every day. The Falcons, of course, have one of the league's most talented and experienced cornerback trios. "I’m out here and stronger than ever," Jones said. "Everything has just been so much easier this time around." Added Matt Ryan, "I think he can be one of the very best in the league, for sure. His talent is off the charts." |
I would say that's great to hear. Jones I think can be very special. _________________

| I love hearing how much Samuel is changing the D. Especially considering how Samuel affects the pace and energy of the D. It must be quite a show to see Spoon and Samuel interact. |

Most definitely. I'm excited to see our D this year. Samuel brings a new life to our already decent secondary. Spoon I think proves he's elite. Our D-line is already okay, but if Ray/Kroy can get it done opposite JA55 and Peria is 100% healthy (which i hear he's looking very good) then our D can be a top 10 D in yds and ppg. First time I can say i'm excited about our D in years honestly. _________________

Good news! During the Friday Night Lights game Nolan had Sid and a few other "ends" stand up and rush. I know its just a small scrimmage but it would be cool to see this progress into something bigger down the road. It also said that Calvin stood out.
Lastly, I think they got a new photographer. The last sets of photos are very different from the other ones. Whatever the case the new photos look real nice.
