Guys that really stand out that you have a massive amount of respect for. Can even be on a rival team. If these players hit FA, i really want my team to make a bid (not literally every time but you know what i mean).

Ben Roethisberger - Steelers: Super underrated IMO. Seeing him twice a year really sucks. Theres nothing i hate more than a group of Bengal's trying to chase him down in the pocket.
Robert Quinn - Rams: Poised for a huge breakout in 2013.
Brandon Lloyd - Patriots: No matter where he goes, he always produces and displays crazy circus catches.
Darrelle Revis - Jets: He can get cocky at times, but theres no denying he's the best CB to come along in a while.

Larry Fitzgerald/Andre Johnson/Calvin Johnson - All 3 are at the top of the WR heap and both buck the trend of being a diva at a position that loves it's diva's. Long are the days of TO, Moss or Chad Johnson ruling all the headlines as great WR's but being diva's. The Johnson's and Fitz know whats up.

Ray Lewis - Like a fine wine he has been. GOAT as a MLB IMO. A passionate leader that has been at the top for his whole darn career.

Peyton Manning - What needs to be said about this Cat? Manning is the prototype of what every team wants as a QB. We saw how ugly a legend leaving a team can be if that legend wants it to become ugly and doesn't understand the business side, Re Favre, but then Manning showed you just how a legend leaving the town that made him famous is supposed to be like. ALL CLASS Manning is.

Alex Smith - All the stuff this guy has had to deal with and he's still working his tail off to give the team that drafted him some of the investment back that they made in him. To go through what he's been through through the years and come into 2011 and help them to an NFC championship berth was good to see.

I could go on and on with this but i'll cut it off there. Love these kind of threads.

So you started watching football in 2010? Wink

Haloti Ngata- He ans Justin Smith on the same 3-4 DL= Shocked He is completely dominant, and for his size is as gifted an athlete as I have ever seen.

Aaron Rodgers- Well duh. He runs a WCO so it would be easy for him to learn ours, and I think he is the best in football right now.

Nick Mangold- Not only during the play, but before the play calling out assignments and reading the defense, he is one of the best. Having a good center is the difference between picking up the blitz and getting a big play, or having less than 3 seconds to throw.

Steve Smith: One of the most competitive athletes I've ever seen.
Arian Foster: Exudes class. Seems like a great man.
Larry Fitzgerald: Best receiver in the game, and amazing character.
Brian Cushing: Just love his attitude on the field.
Bernard Pollard: Really mean & likes to hit.
Brian Rolle: One of my favorite college football players ever. GREAT human being.

Mangold really is the leader of the Jets OL and entire offense. When he went down for two games this year, the Jets had the worst blocking I have ever seen from an NFL team. You could have placed Joe Montana behind center for that game against the Ravens, and he would have played poorly.

It ceases to be "favorite" when you list 20 of them.

Anyway...

1. Haloti Ngata - Just an amazing player to watch. Despite the fact he gets recognition, I dont think alot of people understand just how good he actually is. Even Ray said he brought new life to the Ravens D, which was slipping a bit before they got him.

2. Aaron Rodgers - I just love watching him play. Awesome player and loves what he does. He reminds me of what I would be like if I played....you know...if I had football talent and the ability to grow a porn stache.

3. Earl Thomas - Loved this kid since college. I think he will be the Ed Reed of his generation. Not on Reed's level obviously, but unanimously consdiered the best Free Safety for years and years.

4. JJ Watt - Another player Ive loved since college. Will be the Aaron Smith of his generation. Wont always get the credit he deserves, but will anchor a top Dline for years to come.

5. MJD - Everything about him exemplifies what a RB should be IMO. For all the hype AP gets, this guy is just as good.

Megatron - He's always been 1 of my favorite players and its a joke that people are just now realizing he's the best WR in the game. I'd say he took that title a couple of years ago.

Randy Moss - 1 of my all-time favorites. Was even great that he was a Titan even though he sucked.

Jared Allen - How can you not like this guy? Him on the Titans would make the Defense elite.

Frank Gore - Really humble and has been an elite RB for some time. Plus he's from THE U.

Tony Gonzalez - Legend, great guy.

Aaron Rodgers - damn is he good, and from what I've seen seems to be a generally good guy to be around.

Calvin Johnson/Larry Fitzgerald/Andre Johnson - never really see them 'divaing' and they have produced despite poor QB play without complaint.

Jones-Drew/Arian Foster - similar to the above receivers; seem to be fairly classy guys who just go out and ball.

Eli Manning - composure in the face of playing for one of the least forgiving fan-bases.
