I know it's not draft related, but reports are out that we are interested in Braylon Edwards. I think someone mentioned it before. What are people's thoughts on that idea?

I know the talent is there. At some point, his concentration turned way down and the drops started coming.

I'd like to see what he could do in an offense where he's the #3/4 option. Could be interesting. Sure, why not.

I think we'd either need to start him or cut him if we did take that chance. He seems like he'd be too much of a distraction if he is riding the pine half the time we have the ball. I think he might be worth trying.

2010 Braylon, yes. 2011 Braylon, no...

Should see some Orlovsky vs Manziel this week in the battle of "who's less aware of their surroundings"

Orlovsky has too much experience here. Manziel doesn't stand a chance.

It would give Nrowns fans an opportunity to laugh at me like I laughed at them when they drafted him. He probably gave at least two games to Ohio State when he was at MIchigan. He is a loser. I'd rather resign Chad.

As the starting #2, maybe. In any other role, No, because his attitude would negate any possible gains.

That came while he was still in college.

If not before.

2011 braylon was injured. if you guys are to sign braylon and he plays like he did in 2010 you are getting a gigantic steal.

a monster in the blocking game. braylon LOOKS to knock dbacks on their bums. also in 2010 he didnt drop a single pass.

braylon is underrated by so many people because of the highlight video of mind boggling drops he had.

what i remember is sanchez throwing 60-80 yard bombs to braylon.

if he is healthy, he is an absolute beast.

Pass- Dalton needs to grab the leadership role with both hands this year and help mold the young guys and thethe team into something that hasn't been in that lockerroom in a long time. The chances of this core turning into a very special team goes down with braylon on the team imo.

I don't mind him on a small deal as long as he is healthy. We need a guy opposite Green and as much as I like Sanu and Joens, I am not sure they are ready to start. My only issue would be if we sign Edwards, I do not want to put Jones on the PS or anything.

Give him a shot in camp and see if he shows anything. If he doesn't, cut him. If he does, we may have a steal. But it doesnt hurt to try.

I like our group of young WR's, all signing Edwards would do is slow down thier development. I say no to Edwards lets build with what we have!

It could hurt.

How many draft picks have we blown in recent years by not giving young guys a chance to develop ?

See Dez Briscoe for details......
