Sheldon Richardson, Missouri
Michael Brooks, East Carolina
Jesse Williams, Alabama
William Campbell, Michigan |
Jesse Williams is an intriguing option. He might be my 2nd favorite prospect at DT aside from Lotulelei |
Williams has to be the strongest player in college football. He's a freak. _________________

Pretty crazy, I'm kinda stunned. Probably just cost himself a lot of money. _________________

Meh, he can go the same route as Janoris Jenkins. All he has to do is go to an FCS school, and come the draft next year he should be just fine. _________________

Sure but he also just cost himself millions, for whatever he did.
I thought he was supposed to be a stand up guy? _________________

For sure... but he definitely cost himself a lot of money. Jenkins probably would have been a top 10 pick had he stayed at Florida and had a semi-decent year. _________________

lolz a standup guy...
6 drug tests failed.....yes, 6 during his time at LSU
No way is this guy a "Buccaneer Man" and im glad. Severely overrated by way too many....
and dont compare him to Jenkins. Jenkins was a legitimate number 1 cb at florida and locked players down. TM did none of that, and played alongside TWO top 10 CB's _________________

TM is one of the more overrated players in NCAA last year. Did you see what happened in the National Championship game? Lol that was baaaaad. Darius Hanks? Kevin Norwood? Who are these guys. He got abused. Don't compare him to JJ. JJ was a legitimate #1. He would have had went before Claiborne if he didn't have drug problems. He locked down A.J Green, Alshon, Julio Jones etc. _________________

No one is comparing Jenkins to Mathieu skill wise, sheesh. I simply said their SITUATIONS are extremely similar. _________________

I never watched him very much or researched him. Just going by what I saw on Sportscenter or whatever when they talked about how he rose above his tough life. That usually implies that he's a decent guy. Apparently not.
I wouldn't have expected us to draft the guy anyway unless he was there in like the 5th or something. Ahmad Black was a pretty big playmaker and barely got anywhere in the NFL and hasn't seen the field even with our weak safeties, outside of Barron now.
I'm hoping we take someone else in the front 7 in the first round next year, preferably a DT, then LB, then FS if we can't nab those positions. _________________

Our offense looks good. Maybe a RT and TE. But we could live without that. Now imagine if we add Te'O. Our defense would be looking nice.
Clayborn-McCoy-DT-Bowers
Foster-Te'O-David
Talib-FS-Barron-Wright
That is a pretty solid defense. _________________

Im a big fan of Manti but as of now I think we need to draft DT and CB in no specific order with our first two picks next year. We have no depth and very little DT talent, honestly, DE is shallow too. Other than Talib and a solid Wright, we really dont have solid backup CBs either. But a LB core of WLB: David MLB: Te'O SLB: Foster would be pretty nice. _________________

Prospects I'd keep an eye on :
Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah : MAMOUTH Next to McCoy. I'd jump on him in a heartbeat if I'm Dominik.
Jonathon Banks CB Miss. State: Buccaneer man. Physcal CB who can tackle. Great size and length.
Michael Maudi SLB Penn State: Might slip[ a bit due to injury history, but He just speaks Buccaneer Man. His play on the field is impressive at SLB and the way he stepped up as a leader defending his school. Impressive.
Xavier Rhodes CB: Physcial CB with good size and speed. Could rocket up draft boards however.
Devin Taylor DE S. Car.: We need some depth at the DE position if Bowers isn't 100% and can't recover and we lose Bennett. |

I'd be down for Rhodes or Banks. I hope we aren't picking high enough to even consider Star... _________________
