Must have seen some great work from one of the undrafted guys.

i guess we kind of know what we are getting with dillard, and one of the new guys bring more upside.

I was real excited about him being a part of our team and wish him luck on another squad

Probably also want to give him time to catch on elsewhere. I'm guessing he does.

I know it's weird. But I like that we have so much talent on this time that we can start letting go of #3/#4 type players this early in the process without much worry.

I wish him nothing but the best.

I considered him more like a #6 guy.

I mean that his talent level is that of a 3-4 type receiver, not necessarily that he would be there on the depth chart.

It's only logical with the additions of Robinson and Blackmon... If he would've played I honestly wouldn't have expected much more from him in 2012 if you look at his last season. Nothing to fret about in my opinion.

this. We have ALOT of guys in camp right now who have the opportunity to be more than what we know dillard is.

i think #3 receiver talent level is awfully generous for Dillard. #4/5 sounds more realistic to me. there was some potential there, but at this point...he's had opportunities, he's had time, and he hasn't really done anything with it.

not surprising that we moved on. hopefully someone seperates themselves from the pack and does something more remarkable with those potential snaps.

the whole, 'give him a chance to catch on elsewhere' thing is bullcrap to me though. if he can make this team better, you keep him. if he can't make one of the more suspect WR corps in the league better...he's not going to 'catch on' as a whole lot of anything elsewhere either.
