2nd round? Absolutely not |
White got drafted in the 2nd......
What about the 3rd? Some team will take a flyer on him. _________________ Legends Never Die. They Breathe Through The New Generation.

HAHA and you think teams will use that as a benchmark?
Where is Pat White now? UFL? AFL? _________________

Last I heard he was cut from Virginia. I dont know what he's doing now but if he cant make it there.
I dont think he'll be a mid round pick. He'll probably go higher than Edelman did. Assuming he interviews well and workouts well. _________________

Yep, I switched over to watching Michigan State, I can't stand schemes where they totally throw out every pass play and run it 50 times a game. No one cares about his inflated stats, he can't compete against a half decent team. |
Good riddance, I never say this, but you are not a real fan and never were if you switch allegiances like that. |
We dont want him either. _________________

Robinson is so dynamic. Just get the ball in his hands and let him go. Thats why he cant be a QB, though. Why would he ever get rid of the ball when he can run the way he does?
I cant wait to see what he does in the NFL as a screen-type WR who returns kicks. I would love for him to be a Detroit Lion.
That said, to the OP, you must not have seen much of either Vick or Robinson because the two really arent even comparable outside of being undersized and having dynamic running abilities. _________________

| Denard Robinson is Antwaan Randle El (although he's faster than ARE) if he played at Michigan. |

And that's really saying something.
Seriously terrible passer, and I'd be floored if he measured any taller than 5'10" even. | Well prepare to be floored. If he doesn't measure a 6'0 then maybe 5'11. _________________

Not even close. Robinson doesn't even make a good RB. His best chance will be to learn to play WR & returns. _________________

Really?
Did you all learn nothing from Pat White? |
While I wouldn't want Denard Robinson as a QB on my team, there is always a chance he could get an opportunity somewhere. I mean if Tebow can lead a team to the playoffs who says Robinson won't even get a shot?
Also teams don't learn. Pat White is a great example, but teams will make that mistake again. Robinson is hella talented and he'll find a way on a NFL roster, most likely not as a QB but you never know with the egos in some coaching positions... |
Tebow is 6'3", 245 and was actually a competent passer in college playing against better competition than Robinson. As a senior, he completed 68% of his passes and threw just 5 interceptions in 314 pass attempts. Last year, Denard completed just 55% of his passes and tossed 15 picks in 258 pass attempts.
As others have said, he has more than enough speed and athleticism to play slot and return kicks. This is his future at the pro level. |
Yea, just bc people on here don't like Tebow let's not forget how good of a college football player he was... _________________

Lots of Robinson hate here. If the Packers didn't already have Cobb I wouldn't be against taking Denard in like the 2nd/3rd range. Not too many guys know how to run and throw. Has he ever caught a pass at Michigan? _________________
