This is something I usually believe in.
However, we have three glaring issues on this team right now - offensive tackle, offensive guard, and safety that NEED to be addresed, preferably via the draft, IMO.

This is something I usually believe in.

While I'd like to 'go to town' on the offensive line, realistically we'll select one early on then go for depth the rest of the way

Right, but we might be in a new regime for 2013, so cleaning out some other positions might happen too. There could be more needs than those three, but as of now, those are our biggest areas of deficiency on the current roster.

We dont have a Quarterback.. Quarterback is the most important position in the game. And we have a pretty obvious lack of talent at WR, which doesnt help.

We have one Ok receiver (Jackson)
A bust (maclin)
and a loser (avant)
need a lot of help there.

There all soft, softer then fur around a kittens genitals. it takes one bigger corner to just punch them in the chest and the next 3 qts those wide receivers become aloof, insecure and jaded.

Our Cornerbacks allow receptions, does that mean we need to upgrade that position aswell?
If we get an OT in FA or round 1, our Oline could be a beast (If we stay in a ZBS). Have you seriously forgotten how good our Oline looked the last part of last season? While PFF rating/ranking system is far from perfect, it gives you an idea, Mathis is their number 1 Guard, is he the best Guard in the league, no, but he's fine. All the reporters of people who re watched the games said Mathis looked good for the most part of every game, as far as I can recall.
Maclin is a bust? Britt, Harvin and Nicks are all players which stings. But calling him a flat out bust is way over the line. He's solid, and we need an upgrade at WR preferable at day 2 of the draft.
Kendricks is SLB, because Juan wanted a LB/S that can do it all, if we go to a more normal 1-gap chances are we need someone bigger at SLB and we move Kendricks over.

I'd rather take my chances with Dwayne Bowe. We're likely to draft a scrub wide reciever anyways.
