Unlike Ponder, you can't count the number of Tebow's deep passes on one hand. He has thrown - and completed, quite a few deep passes. Ponder sure can't say that and he has a lot more starts than Tebow.

Not saying Ponder has a great deep ball at all, but Tim Tebow certainly doesn't. Tebow is like a knuckle ball pitcher, you have no idea where the ball is coming in or what kind of spin it's going to have.
Neither of them are starting NFL QB caliber.

Tim's is way better than ponders and tebow deserves a chance to be a starting NFL QB. Especially since Ponder got his chance and tebow did better in his limited amount of starts.

Time to lock it up. Anyone who has an interest in creating a new Ponder thread, go ahead. Though it seems like this thread kind of ran its course a LONG time ago. If a new Ponder thread is created, I would prefer for there to be some kind new discussion specifically about Ponder. Otherwise, rehashing old arguments does get very dull, especially when there isnt really much to talk about. |
