Wish I could find more from this air hugger. Good leader and teammate. Not a very good football player. Wasn't as bad in the 4-3 as he was in the 3-4 though. _________________

| Why would Kelsay give up his number? I wouldn't, and Kelsay will be more than just serviceable in a 4/3. You don't undermine a captain for another player(especially a new guy) in any situation. Also if people don't buy a Mario jersey because of the number, well that's messed |

Kelsay should not be expected to give up his number, because he has earned it during his years as a Bill. However, it must be recognized that he could be a prime candidate for being cut and it would have nothing to do with his number. Although he played well in a couple of games last year, he has generally been over-paid and he has underperformed for years.
When he played opposite Aaron Schobel, the difference between the two was incredible. Kelsay was an average starter, but Schobel was one of the top DEs in the league. Schobel's last contract was signed ib August 2007 and it was for $ 50.5 million, over seven years, so an average of $ 7.2 million per year.
In October 2010, Kelsay signed a four year extension for $ 24 million, but he also received a $ 2 million bonus. This amounts to $ 6.5 million yearly.
If Schobel was worth $ 7.2 million yearly, then at an average of $ 6.5 million Kelsay was tremendously over-paid. |

| Please correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Kelsay take a paycut and restructure his deal, in order to help bring FAs in? |

For some reason I don't remember this, I just remember that he kept getting extended. Was this recently? _________________

| Numbers for our offseason acquisitions have been released, for everyone but Mario. Anderson has #93 now, so we can rule that out. |

Anyone else think we will bring Bruce in and do a passing of the guard to #78? _________________

No way. | Yeah I don't think there's any way that happens, but it would be pretty cool to see. _________________

betchya Kelsay would feel like a jerk....haha
EDIT: I also think it would be funny, that after announcing our 2nd rd pick, if Phil Hansen came out and gave him "his" #90 _________________
