Jacoby Jones?
Braylon Edwards?
Jabar Gaffeny?
Do you all see us trying to bring in one more guy before/during Training camp? I like the idea of Jones as both a slot guy and a special teams ace. I know he has his share of blunders, but I could see Redball getting creative with him! _________________

I could see taking a flyer on either Jones or Gaffney. Would pass on Edwards. Guy is a knot head. _________________

With the addition of Coale I doubt it. I think redball will let the youngster compete for the slot position. I think Harris will enter the season in the role since he has the advantage of being familiar with the system and that role with Coale taking over by mid season. I dont like Radway like some others seem to but it appears he has an outside shot as well. _________________

Ask yourself this question: Will any of these guys make our team appreciably better than it is without them?
My answer: No, they won't. And much of the reason why is because none of them will really have many opportunities to make a significant contribution given the other weapons that Romo has at his disposal, and none of these guys have proven to be reliable commodities. _________________

I'm not opposed to the idea of bringing in some additional help, for the Veteran Minimum on a 1 year deal only though. If they want more than that, we don't need ya. I'm set with what we currently have, unless an injury occures during TC or Preseason. _________________

| Jabar Gaffney is someone I would look at. He's a reliable WR that can play the slot or 2nd WR role similar to Robinson if Miles or Dez is injured. |

| I wouldnt want Jabar Gaffney simply bc he is a d bag....Maybe some of you do not care but i dont like players like this. Remember this is the guy that tweeted "f dallas" after we barely beat them last year (or the year before i cant remember). I agree with some of the other posters...they do not make our team any better than without them. Waste of time, money and effort. |

Gaffney's head and shoulders better than anyone Dallas has in the slot. Assuming he'd be cheap I'd definitely be interested. _________________

I'm not sure I'm following some of y'all's logic. So, if we sign a vet, they come in and win the #3 WR slot, then wouldn't they in fact make our team better? Wouldn't we have a better player playing on the field than had we not signed him, in effect making the offense better than it already was? I'm not a fan of some of these guys out there, honestly, and wouldn't want players like some of them on my team, but technically they'd make the team better if you believe they themselves are better than what we currently have...which I don't. I say no to all three seeing as Gaffney and Edwards are head-cases, and Jones is a poor receiver, something we don't need on this team. I agree with Plan that none of them would really make this team better than it already is. _________________

Gaffney is a bit of a head case...so I doubt we see him in Dallas. _________________

My issue is that they are all progress stoppers and none of them is particularly RKG.
I'm totally ok letting Radway, Harris, Coale, and Holmes battle it out and best man win. Radway and Harris already showed flashes and should be a year wiser. Coale has a lot more raw talent than people are giving him credit for and is apparently very polished as well (supposed to be an excellent route runner). Holmes has the coaches' eye, so he must have something to bring.
Let 'em fight and stay young and hungry. _________________

Agreed. I'm excited to see what Robinson can get out of Coale. _________________

While most of us dont like him, we must all remember there is a high chance of ogletree winning the #3 spot. _________________

I know a lot of people aren't a fan, but I would like Braylon Edwards as a #3 WR. He has starting experience and Miles and Dez haven't been the most durable WRs so at least one of them is bound to miss some time and Edwards could fill in nicely. _________________
