For those of you that dont understand Madden, there is a hidden potential rating that determines the rate at which players improve. As a sophomore out of college Im sure Brockers is high. But also as a young player who many looked at as a project, are they just supposed to give him a high rating?
I understand there are a lot of flaws with Madden. But to give a low rating to a player who many see as a project that may not start right away(though I think he will be good day 1) and bash that? Thats just a bias towards your players showing through. |

They have a history of crapping on rams players. I mean Luck is an 85 all ready? Really? The ratings are an absolute joke in this game, and ive probably played more games then anyone in this forum so I know. _________________

And Luck by the public is looked at as the next Peyton Manning. If a guy is looked at in that light, of course theyre going to give him an inflated rating. Just as a player who is looked at as a major project by the public is given a much lower rating than most. |

Well i feel sorry for the people that think hes the next manning, a top 5 qb ever. The odds are against him. _________________

My problem isnt necessarily with the overall rating of Brockers, it is how they come up with certain ratings.
One example is strength, because his bench reps are in the teens, they gave him 81 strength. But strength in football is not represented by bench reps. Thats just one example. |

I understand Madden just fine and it's not bias at all. It's Madden having no idea how to rank players and not consulting football people. The ridiculous of it all is giving Brockers 81 strength. He has freaky strength, he should have been given 92 strength at minimum. And to make him a 69? You must be kidding me. First round picks are almost always in the mid 70s. The guy was a top 15 pick. Quinn was a 76 if I remember correctly on last years game. And Quinn was considered to be a raw project as well.
Madden has been screwed up so badly the last few years and the worst of it is their sh*tty rating system. And it's an easy fix, consult some people who know football. Consult some NFL personnel men or hell, if none of them want to do it, pay to consult some former NFL personnel men. It's just unbelievable how poor their rankings are year after year.
Either ways, I'm done with Madden.

My deepest apologies.. |
Very rarely, i tend to stick to the NCAA and MW3 |
Your talking about madden and you play MW3 . Thats like the pot calling the kettle black! The COD series is so recycled its not even funny! I have it but I havent touched it in probably 4 months. Now Battlefield 3 on the other hand |
Yea but at least MW3 is still fun to play. |
Man you trippin. Im telling you to give it a chance. Now i was one of those NFL2K guys back in the day and i still hate that madden put the monopoly on the NFL franchise but they really have started living up to that responsibility. But having 2K still around would have definately made simulation football miles ahead of where we are simply because of the competition. |
I gave it a chance. I own every single Madden game since Madden 64. Yep, I decided I'd give Madden 2012 the final chance in the series because I heard it improved. I played the game maybe 3 times and then never played it again. Instead, I played NCAA which was a far better football game.
I'm not buying this year's Madden, they've done a p*ss poor job and have completely screwed up the game. Madden 2007 or 2008 was the last one I truly enjoyed. _________________

Just so everyone knows, these ARE NOT official overalls from EA.
These are the overalls that were given to each player from ULTIMATE TEAM MODE.
These are more like a basis from which they will work.
But on a serious note, the guys over at EA in the NFL department are completely clueless, rating wise at least. I could go into detail here, but I don't think that it is necessary. _________________

My only issue with the rating is that there were so many guys taken AFTER him who are rated higher. There are guys who were taken late 1st or even 2nd around who have a higher overall that Brockers. _________________
