To be fair, Mcmorrow wasn't exactly a draft expert.

What happened to Bray? He was being hyped up as the next great thing before last year even ended, and now...nothing.

Proved nothing this season. He should have stayed in school another year. He can only help his draft stock.

People wised up. Anyone that had semi-followed him before could tell he's a tools QB and a project guy like Gabbert was, but has a terrible attitude and terrible intangibles. If Gabbert has struggled so far despite being hardworking and smart, there's no reason to believe Bray will succeed.

That was more rhetorical than anything else. He got hyped up as a potential #1 pick and a year later, he's barely viewed as a day 2 guy. Crazy how player stock can drop like that.

It was Jevan Snead vs Jake Locker in 2009 for the #1 selection in the 2010 NFL draft and Snead declared after a terrible season and went undrafted and Locker went back and ended up being viewed as a reach at #8 in the 2011 draft.

http://www.bigcatcountry.com/2013/1/23/3907706/margus-hunt-senior-bowl-2013-jaguars-interest

Quote:
Despite being a monster of an athlete, most reports indicate that Southern Methodist defensive end Margus Hunt has struggled in the early going at the Senior Bowl. That hasn't stopped scouts from being interested in the 6-8 defensive end, though, as he told Charlie Campbell of WalterFootball that the Jaguars are one team that has kept an eye on him so far.

Quote:
Hunt told Campbell that he could fit in either the 4-3 or the 3-4 in the NFL:

"At SMU, we mostly played a 3-4. In a passing down we were able to get wide and rush the passer (out of a 4-3)," said Hunt. "Learning more of the 4-3 like we are right now is definitely going to help me out in the long run."

Tony Pauline of TFY Draft said that Hunt has shown flashes of his potential in Mobile, AL, but still has a lot of learning to do before he can take advantage of his athleticism:

Looks the part and flashed ability yet at times was easily handled by opponents. Needs to really fine tune and polish his game.

http://www.bigcatcountry.com/2013/1/23/3908136/marcus-lattimore-senior-bowl-2013-jaguars-interest

Quote:
Not only is he not a senior, but he's also recovering from reconstructive knee surgery; however, South Carolina running back Marcus Lattimore made the trip to Mobile, AL to speak with NFL teams and try to bolster his draft stock that is certainly different depending on who you talk to. He has received some interest already, though, as he told media members, including Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, that he has spoken to the Chiefs, Jaguars and Bengals, among other teams.

Related: Senior Bowl 2013: Marcus Lattimore walking the sidelines

Lattimore, 21, suffered a devastating injury in October of 2012 when he dislocated his knee cap and tore ligaments in his right knee, essentially ending his collegiate career as he declared for the 2013 NFL Draft a couple months later. However, Lattimore said during the media session that he is "way ahead of schedule" and that Dr. James Andrews told him his recovery progress was "nothing short of a miracle."
