I think it'd be dumb to. |
I know we got Monroe but there is apparently that one LT prospect who is supposed to be pretty damn good and plus I think its Warmack who is a beast guard prospect, potential trade down option? |
Pipe dream, and no a rookie Joeckel isn't better than Monroe and Warmack isn't worth the 2nd pick. |
with warmack i was referring to a trade down option _________________

you are looking at trading back to #4, 6, 7, or maybe 8/11 and still wouldn't be the best pick there with our needs. _________________

We badly need to address the O-Line imo, but #2 is definitely not the place to do it. The value just isn't there. We don't need a LT, and even a guard like Warmack isn't worth the #2 pick.
I think we need to grab a RT upgrade for sure, and a C/G to throw into the mix with Rackley and Brewster in the interior. But that's 3rd round or later type stuff.
And on that note, anyone have any particular thoughts on RT Brennan Williams, UNC as a potential mid-rounds guy? |

I dont care about the medical problems. If we don't take Jarvis jones #2 then we will regret it forever.
Kid changes games. If we get him our defense instantly becomes good if not great.
He is what we are missing. I will gladly take a bonafide playmaker, even if he can only play 6-8 years. |

I think it's important too remember what someone posted earlier Spinal Stenosis is a DEGENERATIVE disorder. Meaning (for our more challenged friends ) IT'S ONLY GOING TOO GET WORSE. _________________ ...What? |

He is what we are missing. I will gladly take a bonafide playmaker, even if he can only play 6-8 years. | The issue is that we don't know how long he can play. He could never be cleared to play an NFL game or he could play for 12 years. We really have no idea what the time table is for him. The added risk he poses likely isn't worth the #2 pick. _________________

| I really think what we need is a slam dunk first round pick. I can't remember that last time we had one. |

That is a LONG time ago. Hopefully Blackmon can continue his level of play, and our next first rounder can be amazing. |

Monroe might not have been a 360 tomahawk, but still worth 2 points and some style points from the judges _________________

Short arms likely to push Kent State's Brian Winters (32"), Tennessee's Dallas Thomas (32") & Syracuse's Justin Pugh (31.5") to OG in NFL. |
