Because you picked Tyson Alualu. Unforgivable. _________________

Somewhere in the 3-5 range i'd like too see a Tavon Austin, Dobson, Mellete. Or even a RB Montee Ball maybe? _________________ ...What? |

Hey, how IS Tyson Alu-Alu doing? Now that you mention it. I well remember how in the 2010 draft the Jaguars shocked the football world by selecting Alu-Alu way high up- tenth, in the first round?- when he had projected to go late-first, or more likely, second-round? It was one of those cases wherein a team either a) sees something that everyone else is missing, or b) makes a mistake. Interesting gamble. From the standpoint of where he is now, in his third year, was he worth it? |

Whelp, Teddy, even looking bad, never looked rushed or lost...that initial 50 yard pass, that he floated perfectly over the safety...I felt like Bella watching Edward taking off his shirt. _________________

He was a guy that shot up everyone's draft boards. Three of the next 4 teams picking had targeted him as a guy they wanted with the pick, and went on the record after the draft having said that's who they wanted with the pick. It was a case of ESPN not picking up on the meteoric rise of a player up draft boards.
As for whether he was worth it... The short answer is no. The long answer is that he's had a knee injury that has hampered his ability to really grow as a player. And because of the injury, he gets every Wednesday off from practice, so he's not as polished as he should be, having gotten so many fewer reps. He's good against the run, but he's really bad as a pass rusher. Some of that probably comes from him not having the explosion or the strength to really get the push that he had pre-injury, but it probably also goes a little deeper than that too. He had the injury last year and had a decent amount of explosion, but all of that is gone this year. _________________

If you thought I was big on Mohamed Sanu last year...Rutgers has a Redshirt Sophomore Receiver, named Brandon Coleman, whom is 6'5 220 and runs a 4.4 40....mmph _________________
