well Pats take dennard, another guy with off the field problems that was once a first round point, so you can see my point as well. Our coaching stafff isnt capable of coaching up players, they can barely win 5 games. _________________

But the Pats didn't take your boy... there is a reason. He was overrated, and is not good on the field. Its not just character issues that is causing the free fall. _________________ WHY SO SERIOUS!!!!! |

Lets see, the draft isnt over, wouldnt be surprise to see him pick by Ravens, Pats, or Jets. _________________

Burfict was talking about playing in Canada or the Arena league a couple weeks ago. He's accepted his fate, perhaps you should as well. |

Nobody has taken Burfict. Does that mean nobody is capable of coaching up players? _________________

Let's put it this way. McShay, Kiper, all the draftniks, have giant egos. When they put Vontaze in their top prospect lists at the beginning of the season they were kind of forced to stick with them. What kind of expert would have a guy rated as a top 10 player in september, then have him out of the first round in October? Had they openly admitted how wrong they were at that point it would have hurt their egos. So they are very slow to react to what is going on on the field. Admitting they're wrong is just too hard for them, and it's understandable, they make their living off of this. So in December they both admitted he was probably out of the first round, in January and February they generally didn't touch their boards, in March they said he slid to a 4th-6th rounder, and then 5 days before the draft they both say he may not even get drafted. That slow fall for him helps people forget how they were claiming he was a top 10 pick at the beginning of the season, and helps them keep their legitimacy in the eyes of the casual fan.
It was clear after the Oregon game that Burfict wasn't doing diddly poo. Oregon ran all over ASU and Burfict did nothing in that game. That was a highlight game for the Sun Devils and Burfict was a non factor again. It was at that point that anyone who didn't have an agenda in keeping Burfict's stock high, started moving him out of the top 50 prospects imo. If you disagree, that's fine, but it's just the way it is. Kiper and McShay aren't going to drastically move a guy after 3-4 bad games because they refuse to believe they could be so wrong on a prospect. _________________ Adopt-a-Brown: Jabaal Sheard - Stats:

Maybe he is too much idk but the Pats are certainly capable of coaching Dennard who has had problems. _________________

I understand and Im not going to disagree with you, you are correct. I have been frustrated with this entire draft and I think I am beginning to complain about everything. Burflict didnt do that good last year but was great his junior year, but he is a headcase and would be cancer to our crappy team anyways. _________________
