Greg Scruggs interview
PS: From everything I've read/heard, this could be a huge sleeper pick. Really athletic kid. _________________

| Quote: | | Take-notice workout numbers surfaced at pro day - has a thick, well-proportioned build with very long arms and ran in the 4.7s at 284 pounds, though he could stand to improve his upper-body strength. Has a chance to provide depth, be it inside a 4-3 or as a 3-4 five-technique. However, his tape is less appealing, as he gives effort but does not consistently impact games. Functional strength and athletic ability leave something to be desired and he does not use his hands violently to disengage (marginal pass-rush value). |
And here are his pro day workout numbers:
Dates: 03/07/12
Height: 6033
Weight: 284
40 Yrd Dash: 4.76
20 Yrd Dash: 2.75
10 Yrd Dash: 1.71
225 Lb. Bench Reps: 25
Vertical Jump: 34 1/2
Broad Jump: 09'10"
20 Yrd Shuttle: 4.40
3-Cone Drill: 7.16
Those are some pretty impressive numbers. I agree with SoS, he could be a sleeper! _________________ Trying is the first step towards failure

This is my favorite draft pick for us this year. If healthy, I really think he'll do great things in our DL rotation. Very versatile, and can get after the QB. If I'm not mistake he had 4-6 sacks early on until he was OFY with some sort of injury. _________________
