Overall im pretty happy with our draft. Mark Barron will be a STUD no doubt in my mind. I think I heard Adam Schefter say rught before the pick that Schiano was guna play him at CB? I hope not. He is a stud safety. Doug Martin, I didnt know alot about but I know that alot of people on this board were high on him. Im pretty happy thus far. LOVE the Mark Barron pick.

Mark is a gangster, it's official. We had some monster moves today, great day.

I like it. As much as I liked Claiborne he was pretty soft in the run game. Linebacker next unless someone drops a lot.

Completely agree. I think Barron's leadership, physicality and cover abilities will make him well worth this pick. We desperately needed a passionate vocal leader on this soft defense and Barron will be that. Claiborne would not have been. Barron can do this as a rookie cuz everyone is young like him. He was a Captain on college footballs best defense. Enough said.

Doug Martin is who I desperately wanted if we couldnt get Richardson and I am ecstatic that we got him. The fact that we traded up in front of the Giants, who I didnt think wanted a RB, only to steal Martin from them made Dominik a G. Just think, if we hadnt picked up that 4th from the trade back to 7 that trade up for Martin would not have been made and we would have lost out on him too.

Blount is our feature what? No chance Martin isn't the day 1 starter.

As long as Barron stays at safety and Martin is our starting back, yes, pretty happy considering what we missed.

I don't like Keuchly. I think he's too soft and Schiano wants tough physcial players. Keuchly I've pretty much expressed as a 2nd round prospect that is just solid. I'm glad Carolina took him. He's not much more of an upgrade over Dan Connor to tell ya the truth.

Yeah Im with deuces. Schiano will have the best man start and Martin, right now, can do it all and doesnt fumble. Blount would have to make serious strides this offseason and I dont see him getting better than Martin.

I look at this way. Mark Barron improves the run defense AND the pass defense. I don't think he plays strong safety for us to be honest with Cody Grimm being the better fit there. I thought Keuchly would've helped the team more to a depleted LB core but I guess not. Still though there are plenty of good players left. I have a gut feeling we can still find our stud LB in the third round and probably in the 4th round go after a TE. Heck, I wouldn't mind drafting a developmental CB in the 4th either. I'd go

1. Mark Barron S
1. Doug Martin RB
3. Josh Norman CB
4. Demario Davis OLB

It's hard not to be happy when picking twice in the 1st.

Like our '95 draft hopefully... surely not the '96 draft

Best case scenario Mark Barron becomes our Sean Taylor with the addition of leadership and Doug Martin our Ray Rice.

I like the upside, the Defense is still a work in progress and on paper this is the best Offense Tampa Bay has rolled out. EVER

Holy crap someone bookmark this page, manila spoke highly of the offense!

You're right though, easily the most talented Tampa offense of all time. I hope we it defense with pretty much the rest of the draft now that we nabbed our RB.
