I really like the draft that we had. The only thing I would have liked to have seen is us get a big WR as a red zone threat outside of the TEs. Not that I am biased towards the Razorbacks or anything, someone like Greg Childs.
Overall, happiest I have been about a draft in a looong time.

Really liked the draft, good to see us draft a few Recievers. My only question is why did we draft 2 Tight Ends? Unless the plan is to convert Feener to a wide reciever.

Having 2 very good TEs allows you to play match ups. I will bet money that we see Flenner split wide often. How many 6'6 WR can you name that run a 4.45 40 time.

Fugger highlights...looks like he could catch as a situational pass rusher for us, if nothing else. Plays up to his measurables as one of the most athletic 3-4 OLB's in the class and had pretty good production in the SEC. If he'd gone to a better program instead of being buried at Vandy, chances are he wouldn't have been there for our 7th. |

Still can't believe Harbaugh & the 49ers passed on Coby Fleener in favor of AJ Jenkins. 
Colts got a stud TE in Fleener. |

I was just looking at the Colts roster on colts.com because after they drafted Andrew Luck he was on the roster but after the draft none of the draft picks (including Luck) were on the roster yet UDFAs were.
What I now see is not only are draft picks not on the roster but UDFAs have been issued jersey #s. I can only believe that draft picks aren't on the roster because they aren't under contract but that doesn't really seem consistent with past seasons. |
