It's looking like both of these RBs will be available when we pick and one very well could be the pick.
My question is, if JR went on record today and said "we will draft a RB at 32", who would you want? Yes, completely hypothetical, just roll with it. _________________

Put aside your hatred of RBs for a minute. Let's say we got Matt Kalil in the first and Rueben Randle in the second and both of these guys are available in the third. Which one do you want? _________________

Defense
I don't want 3 offensive players
but really I trust Cosell's opinion with Martin |

and I do not hate RBs
I just do not think they have a high value in the first 3 rounds compared to other positions |

I dont think either of them are realistic for us in the first. But at 64, I slightly prefer Martin. I can't handle another HB with a fumbling issue. _________________

There is no way either of them get past Cincinnati at 53. They are the #2 and #3 RBs and there is a HUGE dropoff in talent after them. Richardson is obviously #1, then Martin, then Wilson, then guys like Miller, Gray, James, and Pead. _________________

Yes. I think that's the #1 thing the Giants should scout from now on. They should make them do the forty yard dash backflipping the entire way. _________________

No! Backflips are for gymnasts.
Back SPRINGS are for real football players. _________________

I voted other. My order would be as follows:
1. Lamar Miller
2. Doug Martin
3. David Wilson
I may be biased towards Miller, but I feel like all three of these guys are worth the 32nd overall pick. All will be difference makers in the NFL. I'd go Lamar Miller first because of his potential. There really isn't much tape out there showing how good he is capable of being. This year was his only year getting considerable playing time and he played practically the entire season with a shoulder injury. If he can stay healthy, I think he could be a top 5 back in the league. If not Miller, I would prefer Martin over Wilson solely because he is more well-rounded. Martin is already an established blocker and receiver and is capable of being a 3 down back right away. As for Wilson, he is still great in his own right, but he has a fumbling issue.
I have a real strong feeling that unless someone falls considerably in the draft, that one of these three guys will be the Giants pick, whether it be at 32 or trading back into the beginning of the second round. _________________

I'm more of a fan of Wilson but I like Martin too. I'd be ecstatic for either but, David Wilson gets my vote. He just has that drive and determination to go along with the great talent and athleticism. It hard not to root for those kind players. _________________ 44 and 21 Once a Giant, always a Giant

| Completely different players imo. Wilson is blazing fast and can take any play to the house. Has elite cutting ability and is really shifty. Martin is a much better pure runner, but not as explosive. Ill probably take Martin because you know that hes going to be a solid back no matter what. Much safer pick. |
