10-6 seems realistic for me. The beginning of the schedule is harsh. I could also see us losing to PIT, CIN and CAR _________________

Manning has to stay healthy for 12 weeks before we will see him. |

Green are the games I expect us to win.
I think this is the first time in a long time I expect us to have a winning record. I'm way more negative than that typically. _________________
Healthy Gates >>>> Anyone to play the TE/WR position, ever.
|

Piq, winning 7 in a row to end the season huh? That would make us tough in the playoffs I think...it seems like the hot team has been winning, at least the last two years. _________________

It sucks that both of our primetime games are on the road. _________________

No, probably a first round heart-breaker again. |

10-6 for me as well except I think the Saints game is more winnable then many believe. Remember there are going to be a lot of suspensions laid out on that team (especially to start the season) so they could be missing 3-4 starters on defense. Also I think we MIGHT be able to beat the Raiders twice this year although I always like to predict 1-1 with all our divisional opponents.
Also I wouldn't be shocked if we won 1/2 primetime games, especially against the steelers as Crennel knows exactly what to look for vs Haley and Wallace may not be playing. _________________

I think Haley's knowledge of our personnel is a larger advantage. Id really like to see us sweep someone in the conference with the Raiders likely being down and how well we'll match up with SD & Den considering our likely dominate pass defense. |

The thing that sticks out to me most is that we have a lot of favorable matchups at arrowhead. here are the QBS who will be coming to arrowhead this year:
1. Matt Ryan
2. Philip Rivers
3. Joe Flacco
4. Carson Palmer
5. Andy Dalton
6. Peyton Manning
7. Cam Newton
8. Andrew Luck
Lots of young QBS who have never played at arrowhead before. We should have a good chance to win every single home game this year. Not that we will, but there isn't a single home game that I see as an obvious loss. |

We were lucky enough to get the Saints early. They will be down two coaches, likely a few players, and a GM when we face them. Plus they will have had less time to get things straightened out and adjust to the differences. If our defense can stop the Packers, I think we can hold up Brees and Co. enough to pull out a win. _________________

Things I like:
Bye-Week in Week 7: Good point in the season the heal and adjust.
Nov 1/Nov 12 games: 11 days off - that's close to a second bye-week. Would have been even better to have that a bit later (like week 12/13)
Things I don't like:
Oct 28/Nov 1 games: 4-day week only, plus travel over time zones.
Pittsburgh at 7:30 PM: One more game I won't be able to watch live |

I might catch a lot of flack about this, but I don't see Arrowhead being the same sort of home field advantage/scariest place to play that we all want to believe it is. Not that we don't have some of the greatest fans, but we've stared at an empty ring in the middle of the stadium for the past 3+ years. It's a pity really, but too many years of "rebuilding" have hampered us.
With that said....as for my predictions I see us going 13-3 (I'm a glass is half full guy)
1-Falcons=win (without Lofton, they don't have the guys to stop our run game)
2- Bills=win Last year was a fluke
3- Saints=win We catch them early and there will be dysfunction. If this game was 3 weeks later we lose.
4- Chargers=Win Chargers are on the decline and are slow starters
5- Baltimore=Lose Ravens are also on the decline, but have players who care and are going to try and make one last run
6- Raiders=Win at home off the bye
7- Chargers=Lose away game
8-Bucs=Win a tough one.
9- Steelers=Win. I think we match up well and Romeo vs Hailey...I go Romeo every time. So will most of the guys wearing Red that night.
10- Bengals=Win.
11- Broncos=Win @ Home
12- Panthers=Win
13- Cleveland=Win...Cleveland is in tank mode
14- Raiders=Lose away
15- Colts=Win.
16-Broncos=Lose. We rest our starters to give them 2 full weeks off |
