That hurts he was really coming into his own this season. Koppen did play well though. _________________

Koppen filled in well, but who knows how long that solid play lasts. Hopefully Kuper is back vs the Pats. _________________

Looks like we'll have to hit waiver wire for another Center. _________________

| That really sucks. He was vastly improved over last year and IMO was our 2nd best O Lineman. I was really looking forward to how he'd perform with Kuper on his right side. |

Looks like Koppen was a "crystal-ball" signing... _________________

I'd say the signing is more related to Blake going on the IR. _________________

Really a bummer, he's been playing well this season. Koppen filled in well, but Wilfork is going to be a handful. _________________

You could see it was bad at the time, and it is a real shame for JD. Outside of (the outstanding) Ryan Clady, he has been our best Lineman this year.
Koppen 1st start will be against the only team he has ever started a game for. How many times in life do we see weird stuff like that? Crazy. And Vince Wilfork isn't the easiest assignment for your 1st start of the year ... _________________ 20 TIMES, 20 TIMES MAN UNITTTTTEEDDD

Too bad. Walton had a good rapport with Peyton. I still think Walton and Beadles (and when he's playing, Ramirez) are the weak links in our OL. Koppen did nicely yesterday and is experienced in a no-huddle offense. Hopefully he can fill in for the rest of the year, having Kuper back will be a huge help. I don't want to go into New England with Ramirez and Koppen having to block Wilfork. _________________ big_palooka:
