Jet Fans,

I'm curious as to who you guys think the most Underrated/Undervalued player is on this years roster. Someone who doesn't get much media exposure and isn't known by all NFL fans.

For me it's David Nelson. He really came on the last 5 weeks of last season as a legit target. He's far from a #1 or even a good #2, but he's a big body in the redzone and isn't afraid of contact.

I know David Nelson very well, he played a few seasons with the Bills before coming to the Jets. He's solid, not a person who is going to make a ton of plays but he is reliable. What about Kenrick Ellis?

I have two that I think are very underrated. The first one is Damon "Snacks" Harrison. The guy can push the pocket and stop the run. He is a huge athletic guy for a DT. He played PG for his old high school basketball team.

The other guy that is underrated is Chris Ivory. He can be a great RB but he has problems staying healthy.

I would also like to mention Chris Johnson. A lot of people think he is washed up and will spit carries. I think Chris Johnson will lead the team in rushing yards and rushing TD. He will also be the opening day starter. Mary M. is not stupid and will see that he still has some left in the tank.

I love me some Kyle Wilson. Seems that even most Jets fans are writing him off.

Snacks and Kendrick Ellis are also underrated but gaining exposure.

Definitely not an unknown, but Geno Smith ranked as the worst QB in the league is crazy. Totally underatting him.

lol yup I'm one of them. Wilson was a wasted 1st round pick. He is a good nickel back but not great.

A 1st round draft pick that is restricted to the slot wasn't a good draft pick IMO. So even if he's underrated as a slot CB, he's still a disappointment overall. I'd like to [inappropriate/removed] I think calvin pace is pretty undervalued too. He had a very productive year last year and can do everything from the OLB position. He goes under the radar bc he doesn't have freak sack numbers, but he does the little things that big time pass rushers don't even offer.

Chris Ivory. He did better than most of the top RB's in the league, just didn't get enough carries. Will also mention Nelson. He played well enough to be a #2 on most teams in the league.

Going into this season, I'm picking Chris Johnson. Probowl caliber RB with game changing speed in Marty's system. If health isn't a issue, he's going to be deadly.

Chris Johnson. People seem to act like he's already done as a productive RB even though he's yet to have less than 1000 yards in a season.

Also Geno because almost everyone has been writing him off as an un-salvagable bust from day one.

I actually think Ellis is overrated. He's hasn't done a whole lot and people were talking about him like he was a valuable trading piece in the offseason.

David Nelson is probably the only true answer IMO. He's frequently ignored or forgotten, but he was easily Smith's favorite target in the last part of the season.
