| Quote: | | Adrien Robinson (6-4, 264 pounds) was not invited to the combine, so the tight end had to prove his NFL worth at Cincinnati’s pro day. Robinson — a first-year starter in 2011 — worked out impressively in the position drills. In workouts, Robinson clocked 4.56 and 4.55 40-yard dash times. In the jumps, Robinson excelled, going for 39.5 inches in the vertical jump and an 11-foot, 3-inch broad jump (each would have been tops among tight ends at the combine). Robinson ran 4.40 in the short shuttle and a 7.01-second cone drill, and did 15 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press. |

| Quote: | | Miami (Ohio) OL Brandon Brooks measured at 6-foot-5, 346 pounds with 32 5/8-inch arms, and was clocked at 5.0 and 4.98 seconds in his two 40-yard dashes. Brooks then posted 4.58 seconds in the short shuttle drill, and a three-cone drill time of 7.42 seconds. He also threw up 225 pounds 36 times in the bench press. |

| Quote: | Michael Egnew, TE — Weighed in at 251 pounds, had a 37 ½-inch vertical jump and an 11.3-inch broad jump. He stood on all of his combine numbers and workouts.
Jacquies Smith, DL — Stood on all of his combine numbers and workouts. |

Love J Smith the more I watch him.. I feel like he's a 4th-5th round guy, but my Mizzou bias might be taking over. _________________

Have him as a 5th rd value, but we do pick so late that the 4th rd is a reasonable consideration. _________________

Love to see us bring in Pead, especially if we're not able to bring Ginn back. Dude has some serious speed and the wiggle to go with it... _________________ FFMD 12 - Niners Assistant General Manager

Thinking 4th rd? Because that's about the earliest I'd be remotely interested in RB.
(though it sounds as if the F/O may just pull the trigger sooner on RB) _________________

Yeah, that's about where I had him pegged in terms of value, but I get the sense that he might end up going higher. I like him in the 4-5 range. Agree also that a RB will be chosen in this draft, I have one in mind that I'd like to see, but you'll have to wait till my mock goes up to see which one it is... (hint: he's huge, fast and his name rhymes with Shmobert Shmurbin) _________________ FFMD 12 - Niners Assistant General Manager

You are clearly mistaken, sir. Mobert Furbin is both undersized and very slow...UDFA at best _________________ FFMD 12 - Niners Assistant General Manager

Quite a bit slower than I was expecting. Funny that people have him as 1 te. But I'm fine with it a long as our guy falls _________________ ***WE RUN THE WEST!***

Speed isn't everything.
Fleener isn't that great at blocking and isn't the prototypical TE that some teams want. However, he's a great fit for our offense, so he's probably the top TE on our board, while he's the 2nd or 3rd on others. _________________

Very true. I really hope we grab him. He can put on some more weight and muscle and be even more beast. If we get him in our offense I'm going to be excited.
Looking forward to seeing his measurements _________________ ***WE RUN THE WEST!***
