Kings had a great SC run. They are truly deserving champions. Always fun to see a team win its first title generally speaking. Thank goodness NJ didn't win, I wouldn't be able to watch (sorry, bkobow). _________________

Grats Kings. I remember someone saying this is the first Cup in a bit that is won in front of the home fans so it is great to see them win in front in LA.
Also love CBC. Hughson just shuts up and let the crowd and emotions do the talking. _________________

Who's the Conn Smythe winner? I am going with Quick. Kopitar also deserves consideration IMO. _________________

Doesn't matter who wins the cup each year, I get goosebumps every time watching the team celebrate.
I was watching the CBC feed and they announcers didn't say anything for the last two minutes of the game. Just let the crowd going nuts fill the air. Was really awesome to watch. I'm sure Doc on NBC was jabbering away like an idiot. _________________

Quick is going to win it; shouldn't be close either.
As a Flyers fan, elated that Richards, Gagne and Carter all get to hoist the Stanley Cup. Too bad they couldn't do it in Philadelphia. |

So glad I watched the CBC stream on my computer instead of watching NBC at home. _________________

And Mitchell touches it first after the captain. Deserves it thoroughly. Just a warrior on the ice. _________________

Well deserved. Great work in the playoffs.
I always get nervous bc I think "this is the year someone drops the Stanley Cup" _________________

roysmyboy picked the Kings to win the cup in the predictions thread in October.
Dr. Philly, Machinehead, and eggybucsfan31 had LA losing in the Final. I had the Devils and Blues missing the playoffs and Columbus finishing 7th 12/16 playoff teams though, not too shabby at all. These are fun to read.
Congrats to the LA Kings. _________________

As a Flyers fan, I can't help but be happy for all the former Flyers, especially Richie (fav player) and Gagne. Richards gave the bald midget a solid answer respecting the entire Flyers organization. I still don't get how fans can hate on him but whatever.
