Pick #9
QB- Jimmy Clausen
RB-JStew or DWill, not both.
OT- Jeff Otah
DE/LB- Eric Norwood
WLB- Thomas Davis
CB- Captain Munnerlyn
CB- Darius Butler
FS- Sherrod Martin
If you have interest in any other players, just shoot me a PM. Some will be untouchable but we might be willing to move some for the right price. |
Not assigned a role, but I have no interest in any of the above personally _________________

Ill help out as an advisory role. I tend to enjoy the first one a great deal more than the second primarily because of Free Agency. _________________

I'm thinking that beyond AGM and Head Coach, there isn't really a need to assign distinct positions for the members of the staff. Everyone on staff will be able to provide scouting reports, try their hand at trade negotiations, and have a say in trade and draft decisions. Members of the staff can participate as much or as little as they would like, so there's no need to skip this just because you don't have the time to make more than a small contribution.

Thanks to everyone who has signed up! Sign ups will remain open through the entire process.
Now down to business. Do you guys want to put anyone on the trade block? Do you want to pursue trade up or trade down options with the fourteenth pick? |

I 2nd this notion. No interest at all in any of these players and would really like to avoid non-draft player trades completelly unless an offer just blows us out of the water. |

I think to make this realistic we should stay stand until draft day. _________________

Pursue? Would be nice to have a good feel for the landscape of a trade down before the draft starts but wouldnt want to committ to one until OTC. We should obviously be willing to listen to any offers though. |

I suppose we could put Kenyon Coleman on the block and see if anyone is interested. I've listed our needs as everything except QB and RB. We have the first post on the second page of the trade block thread. _________________

What do you guys think about ditching the code and discussing draft strategy openly? _________________

My preference for the draft would be to trade down a few spots and take whichever 3-4 DE falls to us, picking up an extra pick in the process. _________________

I like this ideal....have the trades in place and wait and see if maybe a Decastro fall to us otherwise trade back and take whatever 5 tech falls |

The Patriots posted that they were looking to move up, so I asked them for an offer on pick 14.
| patsfreak007 wrote: | | Runaway Jim wrote: | | patsfreak007 wrote: | | Pats gm. Instead of the trade we discussed before would u consider 27 and 48 for 14. Matches up perfect on the points. |
I would be ok with that as depending on who is available when the pick is on the clock and what other offers are out there. |
Would u consider doing the deal before the draft. Were looking to move up from 14 so id like to get a deal done sooner. |
I think 27 would be trading down more than is ideal, but we do get another 2nd. What do you guys think? _________________
