Quote:
The Saints recently restructured LB Jonathan Vilma's contract, according to a league source. The restructuring details weren't immediately known, but Vilma's salary cap figure was going to be around $7.5 million in 2012. Vilma's reworked deal makes sense considering the Saints' offseason signing of LB Curtis Lofton, who may be Vilma's replacement. Vilma's production has decreased because of lingering knee injuries.

That's just ridiculous.

He can't even buy a twinkie with a dollar. Atleast give him $50.

Fine, we'll make it $10, to cover shipping.

I don't think so. Regardless of what Brees gets I am sure that it will be less than his franchise tag this season. I think that it is to protect Vilmas money during his suspension and to make way for smaller signings and the draft.
