Hello administration and moderating staff,
I recently had an idea of starting up a game similar to a sports book. Each player would be given a certain number of points to wager on sporting events ( no actual money will be used and there will be no deposits ) based on vegas odds. I even created an excel spreadsheet to calculate winnings and losses, as well as standings to see who ends up doing the best.
Im not sure how the forum feels about such games. It would be strictly for fun and with theoretical points, and I think it could be alot of fun for the members on here ( its essentially the soccer games pick em game standings except with a handicap ).
Just seeking moderator approval before starting it

It's a novel idea, but I think it lends itself as a potential to PROMOTE gambling on the site. It starts off as a innocent concept, but eventually evolves into people asking for ways to take this knowledge and eventually turn it into some attempt to gamble.
I know we have our yearly pick 'em and survival threads in NFL General, which more or scratch the proverbial itch in that sense. When the season starts up, feel free to get in on those.
