Ahh. Catching kicks/punts isn't as easy as one might think.

Unless he just has a natural knack for it and is instantly reliable (very doubtful) then I'm not a huge fan of the pick. Just don't think he brings enough upside.

Do you think he could be the next Steve Smith type of player?

Personally I think of him as a rich man's DeSean Jackson. IMO, he has that wiggle and speed to get open, but doesn't seem as big of a diva or scared of contact as DJax.

I don't think he's a physical as Steve Smith.

To me, if he can't return kicks/punts even if he's better physically... he probably won't have more value than DJax to us.

Maybe last year it weighing on my mind too much... but meh.

I don't see how Wright wouldn't have value to us... we need guys to get open period. I too like Jeffery's size, particularly for the redzone. But Wright brings a different skillset in that he is quick off the line, has good wiggle to make guys miss and has the speed to get deep as well. His size isn't great for a redzone target, but his shiftiness and speed gives him play making ability between the 20s and a homerun threat.

Count me in on the Jeffery bandwagon as well. 3 WR sets with Smith/Jeffery on the outside and Bolding working the slot has me drooling.
