Brandon Weeden is an older version of Graham Harrell. He does nothing exceptionally well. He's got good but not great accuracy, average arm strength, plays in a system that drastically inflates his statistics and has shown nothing to me to appear as a franchise QB.
Id rather we take a risk on a franchise guy if they believe he has the potential than on a filler. _________________

I can't believe Tannehill is winning the hate contest.
He has more upside and a much higher chance of having the longest career. No previous arm injuries like Weeden. I think some Blackmon/Richardson fans are voting simply because they'll miss out on their guy.
IMO if we go QB with one of the first three picks then I'd rather go Tannehill at #4 than waste 22 or 37 on Weeden. If Weeden were their in the 3rd or later I wouldn't have a problem. _________________

I don't like either one of these choices but I don't like Tannehill at 4 more. I like a lot of the QBs coming out next year better than both of these guys and a 29 year old QB in the second doesn't make it as impossible to draft to draft one of them as it would to take an inferior QB with the 4th overall pick. _________________ "If you can't stand the neural activity, than stay out of the neural activator" -Professor Fink

I can name 2 QBs better than potentially both (Bray and Wilson) Barkley is Colt 2.0 (very undersized and an average arm at best).
Secondly I would hate the Weeden pick more.

Just because it doesn't hurt him to throw doesn't mean there is not damage in that shoulder and he is fast approaching 30. _________________ “From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring; renenwed shall be blade that was broken, the crownless again shall be king.” -- J R R Tolkien LOTR |

| Here is why I hate the Taney pick more. 2nd round qb picks that bust dont set your franchise back 3 -5 years. High 1st round qb's have a way of doing that though. |

I am bookmarking this page to resurrect next year, when everyone hates the available QBs and is drooling over the 2014 prospects.
Weeden before round 4 is a much bigger reach than Tannehill at 4, so Weeden at 37 gets my vote. |

| Tannehill at 4 and it not even close. I not a big fan of Weeden but the difference in missing on pick 4 and 37 is huge. Taking Tannehill at 4 means missing out on Elite prospect like Richardson and Claiborne. The fact that Tannehill seems to be a lock to go top ten is still mind blowing to me. |

This year is no different as I see a lot of hate toward Tannehill and Weeden, so I wanted to ask which pick would set you off worse than the other Ryan Tannehill 4th or Brandon Weeden 37th? |
I think both have franchise potential and are at least NFL starters as a floor.
Difference is Tannehill has about 10-14 years of shelf life where as Weeden has about the same shelf life as a RB, 5-7 years.
voted Weeden BTW _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

I picked Weeden.
If Weeden was 23 coming out, I'd still not like the pick at 37.
He is a Kolb type of QB. Perhaps a top 32 QB in the league, but in the bottom 10 and certainly not someone I'd give a long term contract to. |

Blows too many snot bubbles is the only one I ain't heard yet. | I don't get this. When is the last time the Browns had a shot at a potential Franchise QB and the majority of Browns were against the Selection. I get Tannehill has considerable upside but he is no where near the Elite Prospect that people like Mike Mayock make him out to be. Like i said earlier he has nice upside but he also has a very low floor. TOO big a risk if you ask me. |

I am not a huge fan of either QB. However Tannehill's upside is much stronger. Weedon seems like a solid option but does anyone project him to go to a pro bowl? Tannehill might become a franchise QB. Weedon has much less of a chance IMO. If we spend a high pick I would rather try for a home run rather than a base hit.
Can anyone tell that MLB is about to start? _________________ Go Browns ~ Win Tribe ~ Cavs!
