Ps3Mad: Week 3 Games are up

With fantasy draft back in the fold for Madden, I'd like to have a league regarding it. I plan on running it how we had a few leagues last year. Faster paced with less people. I don't want to disrespect anybody or anything. So, don't be offended if I haven't asked you to be in the league or accepted your request to join the league. I do reserve the right to kick anybody out of the league if they abuse Madden's Mongerness.

One team from each division must be represented:

AFC:
East- Patriots: PatsWin/sonics8719
North- biggio
South- Texansfan713
West- Atown

NFC:
East- dante
North- OPEN: Packers, Lions, Bears, Vikings
South- YoungBucs
West-Holt_Bruce

Sliders and such will be adjusted accordingly. *Discussion allowed*

6 minute quarters with no clock run off. *Discussion allowed*

Please submit PSN name. Approx. times you will be able to draft and how often you will be on to play your games. I'd like to sim a week every two or three days. We have run schedules in the past that have worked out well. Now, I understand things come up and that's fine. It's better with 8 people for that. Just try to let us know, if not, we will do our best to wait.

So, I heard some things about the draft on here and wanted to check it out to make sure, if there were any issues, we could figure them out ahead of time.

The timer seems to be preset at 45 seconds which isn't an issue. However, there are only 25 players listed at each position at a time. And the players aren't necessarily ranked by overall. There is going to be a good chance, many players will be overlooked during the draft.

Come on people! These are usually pretty Damn fun and stick together A LOT longer than someone trying to do a 32-team user league. We usually get through 3-4 seasons. The regular season is still fun even though u only play like 4 or 5 user games, and the playoffs are awesome.

So after looking at the draft more. There are 54 rounds. I think it won't be an issue with missing people in a draft because there are so many FA's after the draft. And mostly the young quality rookies too. So, the idea with missing people in a draft and the trades idea, I'll probably cut out because of the abundance of good FA's that went undrafted. I'm not sure if it will be the same basically ever time through a draft.

But, I do feel like some of these players weren't options in the draft because they weren't in the top 25 or something. So people might be fighting over certain players. If so, we will just come up with rules for FA pick ups.

Example:
Person A wants to pick up TY Hilton.
Person B wants to pick up TY Hilton.

In order to settle this, it goes to which ever person releases a higher rated player. If that turns into a tie, well, what would be the fairest way to handle that? Looking for suggestions.

I think that is the fairest way to do it. Because no matter what, you can only have 53 on your roster when the season starts. It's up to you which 53 you want.
