Half those guys will not be there at 19..Kuechly, Poe, Coples, Reiff, Ingram will all be off the board. Kirkpatrick may be gone as well..

I think (other than WR) defense needs to be the priority. Kirkpatrick would be a good value if Floyd is off the board.

I agree about the defense being a priority but a DLineman is more of a priority than CB though I would not be upset should we take any defensive player. We are going to need to draft two WRs now that it is becoming clearer that Knox may never play again.

Why two? Marshall Bennett Hester XXX Sanz Weems

I agree, CB isn't a priority for Lovie's scheme, nor should it be. DL is more important

I think Emery will go with Hill or even Jeffery in the 1st to make our offense a true strength of our team and then go with defense later inthe draft. At pick # 19, I think Hill/Jeffery can have a bigger impact than a Mercilus or Perry overall. If Jeffery has a great pro-day, look for him to be back in the top 15-20.

Weems was signed to play special teams so I don't think they are looking for him to do much as a WR. We need to have some depth particularly since Bennett has not been very durable. This why I want one WR drafted high and one around the fourth unless we sigh another FA or later cut.

That is what I am thinking too. Hasn't Jeffery already had his Pro Day?

No, his pro day is this Wednesday, March 28th.

I don't think we've ever carried 7 wr's, nor will we. Weems will be expecting to pickup the Sam Hurd WR role. Especially with Sanz being a year more veteran, hopefully we need that 6th receiver less. But I doubt we pickup 2 in the draft (UDFA or not)
