Would be thrilled if the Steelers got Mike Adams Twisted Evil

Don't think Hightower falls to us in the first, but would certainly take it.

Nice Lions pick, Jenkins will be a star CB if he can avoid the law.

Not sure how I feel about Konz. We need a G not a C. But looking at whose available I'm lost.

I think the Bengals would go with Stephen Hill over Konz

Glenn is a massive reach at 13 but love the Coples Puck for Dallas

I’m not a massive fan of Martin for the Bears and I am about 95% sure we won’t take an Olinemen in the first round given what Mike Tice has said since the end of the season…with the top pass rushers off the board we would most likely go WR again even with the addition of Marshall…Stephen Hill would be the perfect complement to Marshall & Earl Bennett’s skill sets.

why exactly do we need a ss?

1 - It is not always about need, value is a huge part of drafting, and at that spot Mark Barron provides very good value. Especially for a team that has few pressing needs, especially after they have addressed WR so convincingly so far in Free Agency.

2 - I think ultimately come April this pick will either be traded away as a means to get further down the draft and maybe pick up a future 1st or it will be used to propel themselves higher in the draft to find a guy who they beleive can push them over the top.

3 - Essentially it is a luxury pick, the 49ers have no real pressing needs, and the position that is probably the one that could be upgraded the most outside of RG is the safety position, and Barron provides the value to make the selection worthwhile. Nobody has a clue which Donte Whitner will show up in 2012.

1. We will still be drafting a WR, and Kendall Wright provides amazing value at 30.. Crabs and Manningham have 2 years to prove they deserve to get paid, and who knows how long Moss will play.

2. That's what I hope will happen- no real needs aside from RG, which we could find in round 2 or 3.

3- Coaching staff is pretty high on CJ Spillman, our current backup at SS who is likely going to take over Reggie Smith's role this year.

**Someone will likely trade up into the #31 spot for someone they covet and that is exactly what the Patriots will be looking to do, however I do think there is an off chance Smith sneaks into the back end of the first round**

Harrison Smith's not good enough to warrent a first round selection and Kendall Reyes cant get off of blocks well enough that he should be considered a first round selection. I don't particularly like either pick you have for NE but I do expect them to trade back with both or trade up for a specific player. If Dont'a Hightower is available at 31 I think the Pats take him. I think the Pats would value Coby Fleener at pick 27 (if he were there), but with the tight ends they've already got the need just isn't there, especially with todays signing of backup Daniel Fells. I don't think the Pats would ever target a talented offensive lineman in the first round of the draft but if Peter Konz is available he's too good to pass up. NE's currect regime has a history of going value on the offensive line, never reaching up to get one, only trading back to settle on one they know will be available (i.e. Solder, Mankins, Light).

I expect New England to try and trade up for Janoris Jenkins so they can get an elite and complete player to man CB and Free Safety. Jenkins is particularly attractive to the Patriots because of his special teams abilites as both a gunner and kick returner. If they wanted to trade back and go for value, a smart alternative would be Markelle Mitchell in the second round, but Jenkins is presumably within reaching distance and a homerun prospect.

He is, I just get the feeling the Cardinals staff are going to fall in love with him. He has the size that we love and he has the positional versatility that Russ Grimm loves. Not in particular a pick I like, but one that I feel has a chance of happening if this is how the first 12 picks fall.

Cox was an oversight, I had him slotted in at least 2 places before deciding on another player, he will find his place in the top 32.

This year there is a large number of "very good" interior DL prospects that have the value of a player drafted between 20-30 but will fall lower than that unless teams trade up for them.

The other interesting thing is that the first two interior defensive linemen off the board in Poe and Brockers are both going to be drafted far more on upside than ability to play the position right now, whereas the group of Cox, Still, Reyes and even Worthy are all probably ready to step in day 1 as a starting defensive tackle in the NFL, but also lack some of the upside that teams often take a chance on late in the first round.

Good pick for the Jets. Ingram would fill our #1 need and is good value there.

Good pick

Do Viking fans even have to tell you that Kalil is a great pick?

Kalil's a great pick. Smile
