You are bumming me out lol

You really think losing Patterson, Tony Douglas and Morris is really going to hurt us that much?

maybe not 3 years from now, but for the rest of this season, we are losing 28 PPG and we brought in just 11 PPG....thats a 17 PPG swing, that is huge.... i will never understand why we did a salary dump of a guy like Morris, we basically gave him away

i suppose a good case can be made for Robinson having some potential and all that but for this year, the trade may cost us the playoffs

I cant see anything about this trade that makes us better this year

Greg Smith is now our first big off the bench, and Patrick Beverly is now our 1st guard off the bench???

when has a team done anything that has a bench as horrible as ours

Whose to say D-Mo and Robinson can't replicate what Patterson and Morris did scoring wise? Delfino is still the 1st guard coming off the bench. I do agree that I am not a fan of Beverly being the backup PG to Lin RIGHT NOW. If Lin goes down they we are screwed.

I am not a fan of DMo at all....when i said Beverly was our 1st guard i was thinking about the report that we plan to start Delfino at the 3 and Parsons at the 4

the ONLY hope we have for getting the same production is if Terrance Jones can be 1/2 as good in the real NBA as he is in the D league

I'd rather have defense and rebounding than a scorer anyways. Idk why we should insist on Asik grabbing every defensive rebound. Dude needs help.

Also. We would make a first round exit if we started as is. Big whhoop lol

Here's the best case scenario for the Rockets in the summer IMO.

They sign Howard in the offseason and do a S&T with Atlanta for Omer Asik and another player. Josh Smith will not get a max contract, at least I don't believe he will. You give Atlanta a Center which they've wanted so they can move Horford to the 4 spot. Salaries-wise, I don't know how it would work, but I do think it's possible. I don't think Howard leaves LA next season though. But having a lineup like Lin-Harden-Parsons-Smith-Howard would be godly.

1. Dang we blew through that last thread!

2. Pastor, Harden is 23, Lin is 24, Parsons 24, Asik 26 and everyone else is young minus Delfino and Garcia while it's nice to win now, we have A LOT of time to continue to build our team. While at the present it sucks losing those 3 guys, but they were already at or close to their ceiling. T.Rob is just scratching the surface.

There is no way we could sign Howard AND Smith. We would be a front runner got a title if we did tho.

im not sure if that would be possible either, not without completely gutting our roster

so im curious to know if anyone thinks Robinson will be a starter at all this season

One he gets settled in. I could see him coming off the bench for 5 games and start the rest of the season. They way Morey was talking after the trade made it seems like he will be our starter for a long time. I want to see what D-Mo does with the minutes too.

LOL, you have to worry about the mighty Detroit Pistons. Jose Calderon is going to undress George Hill once again.
