Will this end his career?

Will nets make playoffs?

Will Jason kidd lose his job?

And the nets trade keeps looking worse.

They're celebrating in Atlanta. That team would be an immediate title contender if they landed Parker or Wiggins.

Sucks for Lopez but this def. gives us a better chance at getting a high lottery pick for this year.

Has a rookie ever catapulted a team from being mediocre to title contention immediatley? I don't see that happening.

Jeff Teague
Kyle Korver
Jabari Parker/Andrew Wiggins
Paul Millsap
Al Horford

Lou Williams
DeMarre Carroll

+ Schroeder/the big dude they drafted depending on how they develop

+ a little bit of cap space

+ being an Eastern Conference team

It's not that far-fetched

I feel like Atlanta would be better off taking Embiid in that situation. Just me, though.

It is. They're at best the third best team in the East (the Heat and Pacers are clearly better than them), and a healthy Bulls team probably is better as well.

This is for next year which means several key players for all those teams (minus the Pacers maybe) could be gone and both the Heat and Bulls would be dealing with injury issues for key pieces.

I'm certainly not saying it's likely, but stranger things have happened.

Feel bad for Lopez. Lone bright spot for them.
