Maybe this guy can come in and block for our double trouble???? He was just released and the dude is a tank and a legitimate fullback. I hated to see Brad Hoover go and I think our running game has suffered from it. Thoughts?

We hardly ever use a fullback and Football Outsiders ranks our running game as having been the best they've ever recorded since they began in '99. I don't think bringing in Vickers would be worth the cost and I'm content with Brockel, who is a nice target out of the backfield to boot and cheaper.

Vickers is a far superior blocker and would cost 1 million base salary??? He blocked for Peyton Hillis and Hillis was very successful. Without Vickers, Hillis struggled mightily. I just think it would be a good investment.

I guess I wouldn't mind him but I wouldn't push for it. I'd rather just keep Brockel for money we're giving him.

I wouldn't mind Vickers at all. Honestly, Brockel did pretty solidly, so if we don't bring in Vickers I don't have a problem. Just saying, Vickers is kind of a stud FB, which is a very underrated position.

Would be nice to bring him in but with our CAP situation I doubt it happens
