Aldon Smith who spent much of last week on crutches looks as if he has a strong chance to get playing time Sunday. Delanie Walker also returned to the practice field after missing a week after sustaining a right knee injury in the team's open practice. Brooks (left leg) and Perrish Cox (leg), both of whom sat out Saturday's game, returned to practice on Monday.

But Smith appeared to still be bothered by the injury during warm-up drills with his fellow linebackers.

Dayum, but oh well we don't need him healthy this week but in two weeks. Even though I know he will want some playing time this week it will be better to hold him out until the last game where he can play a quarter or so. We need our pass rush healthy for the first game damn it!
