What's up guys. Brandon Lloyd just got himself a new agent. He got himself Tom Condon for his agent. The Patriots don't deal with Condon and haven't associated with him since 2004. Looks like Lloyd might not be following Mcdaniels after all. Maybe

He will want to know what players we are targeting in FA and Draft, if he likes our ideas then he will stay

I don't think so. I think he wants to see how much we offer him, and how much other teams offer him. He's no fool, he knows this is likely his last contract and he'll want to get paid more then anything else. I could be wrong and he could be only about winning, but, if thats the case, we have even less of a shot at him.

I sure hope he returns, and at a reasonable price.

It's just a coincidence. It's not like the Patriots absolutely avoid Tom Condon. They have no reason to.

No, the Patriots have purposely avoided Tom Condon ever since an incident involving negotiations over Ben Watson. They don't draft his players and don't sign his free agents. It's no coincidence.

I am on the fence as far as resigning Lloyd.

On one hand the guy didn't show up in Rams blue and gold till October - yet ended up leading all Rams WRs in virtually every category that mattered.

On the other hand Lloyd has only had sustained success in Josh McDs system and Josh doesn't work here anymore. Everywhere else he has been just a guy - only now he will be a guy that is on the wrong side of 30.

I think Lloyd really likes sam as a QB sees a lot of potential and greatness in him. I like Lloyd he's a great WR, he's a vet and can bring a lot of knowledge to these younger WR's and help develop them while being #1.

Here's some new news, it's pretty much a public declaration by Lloyd and Condon that they want to talk with the Patriots.

If we don't retain Lloyd or sign another big baller WR , our 1st rounderWILL be a WR. Most likely Blackmon, Blackmon and Floyd. I read a rumour the other day last weekend Jeffrey ran a .40 he got a 4.82 or something. He was terribly out of shape. I understand is hype and potential but the only way I'd want him is with 33.

NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora reiterated that free agent WR Brandon Lloyd will make it to the open market market.
The Rams have reportedly begun discussions with Lloyd, but he will "get a chance to test free agent waters," LaCanfora said on Thursday's Total Access. LaCanfora calls the Patriots a "likely landing spot," citing Lloyd's relationship with coordinator Josh McDaniels. Lloyd is not a candidate for the franchise tag.
