@Seahawks: The Seahawks have released wide receiver Mike Williams http://t.co/pTzRYqow

Mike Williams had a breakout year in 2010 after years away from the game, but failed to repeat in 2011.

I kept hearing all offseason that he was a good player that was going to do big things with Flynn. What happened?

Surprised, but not shocked. He kinda was one of those guys they should have kept on a year to year salary basis.

From the minicamp photos, he didn't look in the best of shape. Hopefully Durham or Lockette are progressing well to replace him.

I thought for sure that we would keep him through this season. I still dont think it was his fault he had a disappointing 2011 campaign

Ummm, sorry, so who's fault was it, then?

And who's fault is it now if this lovable fat man got cut in July? Same people who contrived for him to backslide in 2011?

Tarvaris Jackson. Never looked his his to throw the ball. BMW wont get separation, and T-Jack never trusted him because of that, even though thats BMWs style of play.
