the Seahawks get a pick next year if they cut Scott, if I remember the trade correctly

Yea, a 2013 5th if Scott isn't on our roster. We'd eat the salary for that.
I'm not against trading Tate, but I don't really wanna give him to a rival. He's only started to scratch his real potential.
Like I said, I'd move Leon for a 2013 3rd or 4th+6th.

And Tats, I agree that Howell comes at a position of relative depth, but he played both LEO and SLB in college. He gives us a freak at both spots and is a lot like Lockette pickup last year. Amazing athlete from smaller school that just needs better coaching. KJ can be our backup MLB.

I get that. But you wanted to add a LEO, which, really, I mean where? 
And are you saying you want to cut Tate or Washington Osprey? No thanks. I'm not at interested in moving Tate at this point. I'd move Washington for a pick next year. |
I don't necessarily want to do anything, but I was just bringing it up as an option, since SoS said there was several other players he wanted to bring in. Personally, I don't care if we keep them, trade them or cut them. I'll leave that up to you guys.  |

weve already drafted 2 LEOs. why do you want to sign a guy in UDFA that is also a LEO?????
MLB depth is a need not LEO |

So are we all in agreement of cutting Bart Scott for a 5th rounder? We can than take official votes for either signing MLB Omar Gaither, UDFA Chris Gallipo, UDFA Korey Williams, MLB Matt McCoy, or a guy at another position. Someone like Haynesworth or the Bills just cut Torrell Troup.

I'd say just bring back Matt McCoy or sign Gaither. We need some veteran like presence.
