Didn't really see the need to make this move, but whatever. As long as it isn't too much money it isn't a big deal. Hopefully they're also looking into resigning/extending some guys that actually matter to the team. _________________

I'm ok with this signing. He is a good ST player and a solid veteran.

Not a huge fan on this. If we are worried about ST's guys I would rather just store him on the practice squad. He showed me nothing in the passing game. He is solid on ST's yes but how many stud special teamers do we need. _________________

IMO this is a very under the radar signing. He played well in GB and was only cut due to the depth they have at receiver. He is a tall guy who I think may surprise some of you. Cheap deal i don't see the issue. _________________

Surprise? He was god awful in action last year. He played so soft for his size and has terrible hands.
Stevie Johnson
Marcus Easley
David Nelson
Donald Jones
Ruvell Martin
and whatever FA or rookie we draft. I would have liked not to re-sign Ruvell, and keep Donald Jones for special teams because I dont see him as starter material, especially if we draft someone or sign someone in FA. I dont know, I just see WR as a huge need and signing Ruvell takes up one of six spots and I personally think we could get better value somewhere else. _________________ FFMD 2012 Buffalo Bills! |

Can't find details of the contract, but if he were to be released later before the regular season starts, it wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened. I hopeful they do this. _________________

Just because he was re-signed doesn't mean he wont be cut if he plays "soft" with his "terrible hands". I can't believe the uproar this signing has had on some of you. _________________

he was tied for 2nd best special teams player that is why they kept him. No need to bug out. Right now is the time to re-sign the players that are key pieces to certain areas. It doesnt mean he is going into camp as the #2 wr on the team. _________________

| Might be a money saving move. Now we do not need to spend the big bucks on Vincent Jackson. (LOL) |

He was 2nd on the team in special teams tackles last year. This move is for ST purposes only, and its a 1 year deal worth less than 800k. I'm fine with it, and by no means is this our attempt to get better at WR lol _________________

1 year deal that counts $540k against the cap. Pretty much the same as the futures contracts that get handed out during the playoffs. No signing bonus and no guaranteed roster spot. If he gets beat out at camp, they cut him. No big deal. If he shows up and plays good special teams, then he's our 5/6 WR. _________________
