I personally think his production could be replaced by a playmaking TE, accompanied by Lee Smith.

franchise tag is around 6 mil

You either resign him to a couple million if that or let him walk and go for a guy like Carlson and pay a bit more.

The Bills just tweeted that they've re-signed him. I'm to wait to see the terms before I make a final decision, but I would've liked to see a more athletic guy brought in. Who knows maybe they still will. I think more athletic, speed TE's are becoming a huge part of the game.

I hope they dont settle with him as the clear cut #1 TE. I know money would be better served elsewhere but I would like to see them put in some effort towards another TE. Chandler would make a great #2 TE but hes just too slow and doesnt do much after the catch unlike a lot of the premier TE's in the game today which are becoming such an intrical part.

I really like this move. I think he is a perfect TE for what we try to do on offense. Athletic TE may be a part of the game but we don't try to stretch the field all that much. He is a great blocker and clearly a redzone threat. Good move.

Great re-signings with Johnson and Chandler. The biggest piece missing from the offense is essentially just one more receiver. Everything else is defense.
