Josh Trank who directed the awesome Chronicle has been hired by FOX to do the reboot of Fantastic Four. Great choice. _________________

The writers of Saw IV, V, and VI and partial writers for the upcoming Pacific Rim have been hired to write a God of War script... _________________

| Quote: | | Less good news (depending on how you look at it...) comes with regards to the "Daredevil" reboot that Fox have also been developing. Last seen nearly a decade ago in a much-derided film starring Ben Affleck, a new version has been in the works for a few years, with writers including David Scarpa ("The Day The Earth Stood Still") and Kyle Kinnen ("The Beaver") having taken passes over time. The studio are apparently happy with the script, and keen to move forward, but they've hit one major stumbling block: director David Slade ("Hard Candy," "30 Days Of Night"), who was appointed to the film last year, has dropped out, citing his commitment to the Mads Mikkelsen-starring "Hannibal" TV pilot. |

Partial writers? Guillermo Del Toro is the reason Pacific Rim is going to be beast not Saw writers. Saw 1 was a great movie but every one after that was terrible. I'm dissapointed. _________________

Wow. Ed Helms. Are you serious?
He's a much better supporting character then a leading man and won't even compare to Chevy Chase. Could've done better. _________________

He's playing Rusty Griswald all grown up. The key to this reboot is going to be the script above and beyond the casting. John Hughes wrote the original and that's a lot to live up to. _________________

Thats Hollywood for ya. I'd prefer chicks like Moon Bloodgood, Gong Li, Rinko Kikuchi. Hollywood lacks some Japanese actresses. _________________

It's got great writers, and he's a solid choice. No one else better I could think of. _________________
