| I would be thrilled if we got him at 21. He would be a great second option to Green and give Dalton another toy in the pass game. |

The nice thing about Hill is despite his rawness, they'd have to respect his speed right out of the gate and give safety help over the top, taking that poossible 8th man out of the box. And having 3 guys 6'4" or over could be killer in the red zone in Hill, AJ, and Gresham (6'6") _________________

The way you guys are talking about this guy, i'd take him at 17 if he's there. And i strongly stress, if he's there. I've seen enough drafts to know the physical specimens go higher than antipicated. It only takes one team to fall in love with a guy.
Reading through the NFL Mock Draft forum, it seems most have him between 21 (us) and 32 (Giants). I could see him going 15 or higher (meaning 14, 13, 12, etc). WR's are at a premium right now. We all saw what happened during free agency. There could be a major run of these guys right away. _________________

I agree and theres a good chance Hill and Gillmore could be gone by 17 if that happens the good news is Decastro could be still there. I think there could be a run on Wr, Qb, DE and Cb early in the draft. In other words I think most of the first 15 picks will be used to either improve the passing game or improve the pass defense. _________________

Hill still has negatives. Route running needs works. Drops were an issue, but he has displayed good hands, so it may be a concentration issue. Limited tape because of the offense GT ran. I think there is too much talent in the 6-17 range for him to go before 17, and I still think he'd likely be there at 21, but it's no guarantee with Chicago and San Diego picking before us at 21. _________________

| I'd be very surprised if Hill was off the board before 17. I expect he'll be available at 21 too and wouldn't be surprised if he falls out of the first round. Remember, he can only run a few routes now. |

Hill isn't a great pick for a team that needs a #1 WR because he is pretty raw.
But for us he would be a very good pick. Lots of upside. Has experience run blocking. Doesn't need to be a #1 WR or even a #2 option really. Between Green, Gresham and Shipley he has time to develop, and when he does he could be a beast. But for now he can take the top off the defense, and block. _________________ 2013 Draft Needs: RB, Safety. Maybe RT and backup LBs |

Pretty much sums up my opinion. Add in that he'll never have to face double coverage as long as everyone is healthy. Becaues of his speed, height, and vert, he can be a deep threat from day one. _________________

Megatron also had 25 lbs on Hill, better hands, and more polished routes. _________________

Calvin Johnson played under GT's previous coach Chan Gailey who had a passing offense. His receiving numbers were much greater than Thomas or Hill's. |

sparky, you're dead on about this. I just got done listening to Geoff Hobson and Joe Reedy spend their longest segment on this kid. The question mark on this kid around the league is the option offense that the current coach at GT runs.
I think he'll be available at 17 but I think we'll go elsewhere because there's gonna be a DB or DL that's going to slap us in the face in the case that Floyd doesn't make it. Things will be very interesting with this 21 if Stephen Hill is there _________________
