Little bit of a possible boom pick. I really have no idea how he'll do in his 2nd year... I know that the Mets hate his defense, but theyve moved their fences in and love this kids bat. Figured it's worth a shot.

I was trying to trade up for him. It's all good though, through research I found a guy I would rather take a chance on that should last quite awhile more yet.

Are you just joking?
I considered him a couple rounds ago. 1B/OF kid who can get 20 hr and 80 rbi easy with full ABS.

Thats a shame. Not being a jerk either. Cuz he is on many sleeper lists this year.
I had him as my 32nd OF. Based on his numbers I see him finishing in the 25-30 range this year but I like his 1B/OF dual.
I simply didnt take him because of Ike Davis

He put up respectable numbers in about 100 games last year. He can rake, but he's absolutely abysmal in the field. I think he'll see a season's worth of ABs this year, and if he does, he should be pretty good. Seems like the Mets are having themselves a mini-youth movement, so he should see plenty of time. They also just moved the fences in, so his numbers should tic up a little bit.
Despite what I said earlier, I'm building through youth. I don't really think I have much of a chance to compete this year, so I'm bringing in a bunch of guys that will either boom or bust this year... Maybe build through trades later in the season, or just have a bevy of guys to choose keepers out of.

Wow. If his story is true, I fully understand why the suspension was overturned. He'll probably never live this one down in several ways, and that's a shame. Completely sucks for him to have to deal with something like this so publicly.

Apparently Braun tested positive for high testosterone because of the use of Abreva. His whole thing seemed a little crazy from the moment it happened... Now I feel like I know why. MLB even apparently has a positive test (for herpes) to back up his story. I kind of believe it, tbh.
