couldnt find the original link but greg rosenthal tweeted that he heard at the combine the vikings will be in play for several big free agents and will be willing to spend. This excited me a lot, 2 names come to mind immediately for me: vjax and brandon carr, that would be a hell of an offseason getting those two plus kalil in the draft. Thoughts? |

| This is great news.. I would love for the Vikings to land 2 stud players in FA and land 2 or 3 starters in the draft. We would be heading in the right direction and getting younger as well.. |

I would like if the Vikings are fortunate to actually get ONE stud Free Agent.
Tho I have my doubts, as we were not a good squad last year, we dont project to be a good sqaud this coming year, and our recent history of signing stud free agents is not good.
If by "in play" that means that stud free agents will be talking to the Vikings to drive up the price offered from another team (they'd actually want to go), then I'd say thats more realistic sadly. |

You do't know that. If the Vikings make a few cuts, they could have 20 plus million to spend. With all the FA out there, the Vikings might beable to land 1 or 2 by over paying for them. If we offer Nicks a huge contract, he might be happy taking the money and trying to win here.. No one knows. But, I hope they over pay and get some young guys in here... |
