Who are your top 10 defensive lineman. You can include D-Ware because he spends most of his time rushing the passer but is classified as an OLB.

1. Haloti Ngata
2. Demarcus Ware
3. Jared Allen
4. Justin Smith - this year has elevated him
5. Vince Wilfork - underrated
6. Justin Tuck - wouldve been higher, but injuries hurt his season
7. Trent Cole - still regard him as one of the complete DE's
8. JPP - only 1 year of elite play
9. Ndamukong Suh
10. Julius Peppers - quietly had a good season.

1. Haloti Ngata
2. Jared Allen
3. Justin Smith
4. Jason Pierre-Paul
5. Vince Wilfork
6. Justin Tuck
7. Julius Peppers
8. Ndamukong Suh
9. Trent Cole
10. J.J Watt(homer pick)

From what I've seen, D Ware plays a lot more like a DE than an OLB in the Cowboys scheme with the way he lines up off the edge. You could add D Ware to this list and remove Tuck, Atkins or Watt in that sense.

Bit of a Homer but I believe Chris Long belongs on this list after being double teamed most of the time this season due to no effective DT's

Too difficult to compare 4-3 DE's with 3-4 DE's in my opinion.

In fact take Freeney out and add Avril.

Avril isn't a top 5 DL. Trust me.
