He is expected to make 2 mil next season, and I remember him and Norv getting into it in the begining of the season.
The best place for him would be Tampa if he is released. He would fit right back in and they will associate him with the improvement of our team. Because no matter what we are not going to be picking 5 next year.
He would also be much cheaper if we signed him.
I was never a big Sapp fan, but I think he may be able to bring something back to the overall spirit of the team.
-also I do remember hearing him say that there was no hard feelings between him and Gruden, despite the Buc's not even offering him a contract. |

| I'm all for Sapp but I think Lynch was let go with good reason. Lych play was getting weak and really we don't nned any more safteys, since we got Phillips, Smoth (possibly), Jackson, and rookie Allen. |

Lynch accually made it 2 the pro bowl. Sapp had 2.5 sacks were better off signing or drafting a dl. |

If we could sign him for a cheap contract it would be worth it. He would take the focus off the DL and allow us to pick up young LB's and CB's (Edwards & Gold may be gone).
Plus, I think it would bring back some confidence to the team. I know it would be on ESPN for a week. |

Now that Moss is going to Oak, Porter resigned, and Woodson the Raiders are really in cap trouble. They are going to need to make cuts. Washington may also be cut.
I also heard Ricky may be going to Oak. Moss and Ricky... Cali does have the best Green. Maybe they can be stoner buddies, and if Sapp stay then hell it will just be a smokefest of NFL trouble makers |

| Sapp hasn't been getting a whole lot of sack since the year he got 16.5. The reason I want him back is because one he's a vocal team leader which we need, two he's pretty good in a 4-3, and three he'll take presure off Rice. |

I agree
The D the Raiders ran was not right for Sapp |
