Whoever makes these decisions for ESPN is an idiot. I'm guessing it's the same person who hired Herm Edwards.

I always though Jaws was better at breaking stuff down but Gruden was the better speaker. Even tho Gruden thinks every player has HOF potential he grabs you with his voice. Jaws was a little more boring but was very insightful. My $0.02.

Get Gus Johnson and make the football world happy. Or Morgan Freeman. Or Samuel L Jackson

I thought his analysis was pretty good, especially in regards to QBs. I would've kept him over Gruden.

Good. He's too pretentious for me anyways. They need to get Charles Davis. He's by far the best on TV.

baha charles davis is a pretty cool guy but if you're knocking jaws for being pretentious, charles davis is one of the most pretentious guys on NFL network come draft time.

yeah but who really cares if gruden had "the voice" he isnt even the play by play guy, tirico is, so what does it matter. jaws is the best because hes the anti gruden, he's not a sensationalist, he rationalizes what hes gong to say before he comments on players, etc.

This is only a good move if they plan on bringing in Emmitt Smith to replace him.

He's good. But I'm glad, Jon Gruden has the good analysis and jaws and him kind of got in each others way...

I liked Jaws. FInally there was a great group. I'm glad they still have Tirico and Gruden and didn't try to throw anyone else in there.
