|
|
|
Summary: Feel Free to talk about anything related to the 2012 draft.
Reports | Evaluations | Overviews | Etc.
* If any of you wish to write a report on a specific player feel free to post it here and I will copy it onto the main page and add the players image. This goes for all players regardless of whether or not they are players of interest for the Atlanta Falcons.
Prospect Talk
* "Player A" played great? "Player B" played terrible. Feel free to give us your opinion on how a player performed. Was it impressive? Underwhelming?
Sleepers | Small School Players
* The Falcons specialize both in picking up players from small schools and acquiring high quality players in the later rounds. Have a sleeper that no one else is talking about? The University of California/Santa Cruz Banana Slugs have a player on their team that could make it into the NFL? Maybe not from that school, but feel free to inform us of small school players, who you think could make it in the NFL.
*More to Come Later* _________________

great thread idea, and great OG posts to make it really nice. I posted this in TAFT so i'll post it here to get some discussion going
| Quote: | didn't know exactly what thread to post this in, but I am REALLY impressed with Greg Childs WR Arkansas. I've followed him for a year or two now after seeing a lot of Arkansas games.
I would love him on the Falcons, I think he would be a perfect slot man with Roddy and Julio on the edges. Childs has elusive speed, he is a high charactor guy who has a high football IQ, and IMO his best attrabute is his hands. the dude seems to catch everything thrown his way. |

Well now we know we definitely need some help on the Oline. If Matt Kalil, Fluker, Reiff, and Martin all declare there will be alot of talent to choose from _________________ Atlanta Falcons: 8-1

there's already quite a bit of ability out there just from the seniors. with just one or two of the touted juniors declaring, atl could have chances at serious upgrades all along the line. the florida st. tackles are looking pretty good in their play. it's just too bad we won't get to see them match up against the biggest test in the ACC as far as defensive ends go. adcock is also a thought for possible bookend ability. but seeing the past few games, tackle isn't the only thing that needs to be seriously considered. thankfully, there's a few that would almost definitely be an upgrade. |

Last year we were saying give us an explosive receiver and were set to go. But now I'm not saying that. I'll take a LT, a TE for when TG leaves. _________________

IKR? lol. i decided to pop in and see how things were going here and wallow about a tough loss. but things are going pretty good job wise. it's just slow for me right now because i haven't got any tape yet. all my info has just been from watching the games on TV. lol. still, some of the tackles have looked pretty good while looking to be good value. |

I say we get a veteran LT, and hope Dwayne Allen is there in the second
He is by far my favorite player for us as of now, he is a great receiver and pretty good blocker too. Think he could benefit from playing one year with Tony (if he stays). _________________

With the way things are looking, there will be a good tackle prospect when we draft in the second.
Matt Kalil
Jonathan Martin
Riley Reiff
Nate Potter
Mike Adams
Matt Reynolds
Andrew Datko
Four, maybe five are first round picks, so we should be able to grab one in the second. _________________

I think we need a more athletic TE. I was thinking more of Orson Charles who will be a later round prospect allowing us to get a LT early. He is more of the Aaron Hernandez X-Factor TE type. Michael Turner is regressing and we look to be modeling our offense to appeal to Matt Ryan passing the ball more. _________________ Atlanta Falcons: 8-1

Hopefully you pop up more often, always thought of you as one of the most knowledgeable posters when it came to the draft on the Falcons forum. I always remember those Ryan debates you has against the world, loved to read them. _________________

I don't know what you are really talking about, Dwayne is MUCH more athletic in my mind. I might agree Orson is faster, but athletically I bet Dwayne can jump higher, and I know he makes a lot more athletic catches. Watch the Clemson vs. Auburn game if you don't think he is athletic, he makes multiple catches that are insane. He's more of a do it all guy, but I love how he plays. _________________
